NFG: Not a phase, not a phrase, it's a way of life.
My life is a #gradschoolproblem...and I'm not even in grad school anymore (loljk why did I go back).
This. I WISH I had more information about asexuality when I was young.
There is something incredibly isolating about being surrounded by media and watching your peers all experience something everyone insists is human nature and everyone feels, and you just...don't...feel it.
Weird confession: I feel an automatic kinship with most people named Emily. I'm completely biased, of course, but I *do* feel like most Emilys are amazing.

Them: "Aces aren't oppressed. Show me a law that discriminates against you."
Us: "1 example: Asexuality isn't recognized as a sexual orientation in the Equality Act. Only gay, bi & STRAIGHT are."
Them: "lol No 1 gets fired for not having sex. lol You wanna be oppressed so bad."
@KristinL_Miller It's the really tiny ones that go up and barely do anything when they get to the top, maybe a little crackle, but make an ungodly squealing the entire time they're in the air.
"Nails on a chalkboard but make it sparkle"? I don't get it.
Today is my day off.
I convinced myself I should go to the lab anyway. I got dressed to go, I was all ready.
And then I remembered.
It. Is. My. Day. Off. And I didn't go.
This might be my greatest achievement. 😌
When Philando Castile was murdered by police at a traffic stop in 2016, Minnesota invested $12 million in police training.
Where was that training when they killed Daunte Wright just 10 miles from where Derek Chauvin sits on trial for murdering George Floyd?
