@GregBerge Let the coaches coach… but look at how many college and professional athletes had their dad as a coach growing up. There’s something that must compound about all those car rides and father-son time, finding the balance between support and teaching lessons.

Even with no proven goalie at the time (luckily Vladar worked out), there were numerous hit pieces about him from philly beat writers, bloggers, journalists, and podcasters. @charlieo_conn and @BiladelphiaPHLY, whom I otherwise love, detested idea.
