Unpopular opinion
With all the efforts the NHS has made in recent years, many projects focused on equity, diversity, and inclusion which I truly commend the commitment to fair treatment and respect for all.
However, I just feel that it’s not working.
Maybe what we really need is to build on shared values and unity, not just diversity.
I believe It’s not about celebrating every difference; it’s about coming together with common goals and a shared vision for a stronger community.
Just thinking, should we be preaching unity instead of diversity?
On a Press Conference release today by the @nannm_nigeria, the association calls for:

Keep on fighting but don't lose guard.
Be careful of people fighting with you. Know your friends and know your enemy.
Know your friends friends and know your enemies' friends.
Be psychological in battle and not emotional.
We stand with #BayelsaNurses.
Individuals, employers, agencies and institutions should be able to verify who is a Registered Nurse without the need for rigorous application process.
Meaning the register should be made public.

Another National Association for Nurses has spoken while the silence of NANNM National is loud.
How did we even get here…
Meanwhile, thanks to the National Assocation of Perioperative Nurses for speaking out for your members and the nurses at large.
Don’t be scared about coming out for the demonstration, it will be as peaceful as you can ever imagine. We have security backings and clearance so if the issue of security is your fear, worry no more cause nurses reform initiatives gat your back. There will be enough refreshments 😁 and nurse Cynthia will be giving out free copies of her book “why i hate nursing practice in Nigeria’’
