Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: Nigeria Cannot Keep One Law For The Igbo And Another For Everyone Else

Nigeria Is Not Short Of Armed Men. It Is Short Of Equal Justice.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Sits In a Nigerian Prison Under a Life Sentence Because The Nigerian State Decided That An Igbo Man Who Demanded Self-Determination, And Who Raised a Regional Security Network After Farms And Communities In The South-East Had Become Targets Of Kidnapping, Violence And a Killing Ground, Was a Terrorist.

That Conviction, Delivered On 20 November 2025, Is Now Being Challenged On Appeal. The Case Must Be Heard. The Government That Fought To Keep Him In Chains When An Earlier Court Discharged Him Cannot Now Remain Silent When He Is Asking For His Appeal To Be Heard. That Is Not The Posture Of a Confident Prosecution. It Raises Serious Questions About a State That Appears Determined To Keep a Political Prisoner Locked Away Rather Than Allow The Law To Be Tested Fully And Transparently.

Call His Imprisonment What It Is: Unjust, Illegal In Its Origins, And Unconstitutional In Its Method. He Did Not Simply “Jump Bail” In The Cartoon Version The Federal Government Has Sold For Years.

In April 2017, He Was Granted Bail. In September 2017, During Operation Python Dance II, Soldiers Moved On Afaraukwu, Umuahia. His Family Compound Was Raided, And The Military Operation Resulted In Deaths. Hundreds Of People Were Shot And Killed. His Father’s Palace Was Desecrated, Household Property Was Carted Away, And The Items They Could Not Carry Were Destroyed.

IPOB And Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Family Have Always Maintained Something Simpler And More Terrible: The Military Came For Him In His Home, And He Fled Because Remaining There Could Have Cost Him His Life.

A Man Running From An Armed Assault On His Family Home Is Not a Fugitive From Justice And Should Not Casually Be Reduced To a “Bail-Jumper” Without Confronting The Circumstances That Caused Him To Leave.

He Is a Survivor Of State Violence. The Government That Nearly Got Him Killed Then Spent Years Branding Him a Fugitive From Justice And Branding Him a Bail-Jumper. That Is Not Justice. That Is Narrative Management.

When They Finally Got Him Again, They Did Not Use a Conventional Extradition Process. In June 2021, He Was Abducted In Kenya, Held Incommunicado, Flown Into Nigeria Without Due Process And Brought Back To Nigeria Under Circumstances That Courts Subsequently Condemned. That Is The Extraordinary-Rendition Controversy At The Heart Of This Case. The Court Of Appeal In 2022 Discharged Him, Finding Serious Violations Arising From The Manner In Which He Was Brought Back To Nigeria. A United Nations Working Group On Arbitrary Detention Also Found His Detention Arbitrary, Said The Transfer Violated International Law And Called For Appropriate Remedies. In 2025, a
Kenyan Court Also Ruled Against The Circumstances Surrounding His Removal From Kenya And Declared His Abduction And Forcible Removal From Kenya Unconstitutional And Illegal.

Nigeria’s Supreme Court Later Described The Manner Of His Return And Rendition As “Unfair And Oppressive” While Nevertheless Allowing The Criminal Proceedings To Continue. A State That Concedes It Kidnapped a Man Across a Border And Then Convicts Him On The Fruit Of That Kidnapping Is Not Administering Justice. It Is Laundering An Abduction Through a Courtroom.

Think About That.

A State Can Unlawfully Or Oppressively Bring a Man Across An International Border, Then Put Him On Trial After That Process, And Still Insist That The Resulting Prosecution Represents Ordinary Justice. A State That Concedes The Process Was Unfair Should Not Be Surprised When Citizens Question The Legitimacy Of Everything That Followed. Now The Conviction Itself Is Being Challenged On Serious Legal Grounds, Including Arguments Concerning The Terrorism Legislation Under Which He Was Prosecuted And The Applicability Of Repealed Provisions.

The Meaning

✅Coming destruction: Jesus was warning the women about a terrible war coming to Jerusalem. This historical event happened in AD 70 when Roman armies destroyed the city and the temple.

✅Suffering of families: The coming siege would cause so much starvation and pain that mothers would consider it a blessing to be childless.

✅A Greater tragedy: Jesus meant that his death was part of a divine plan, but the human suffering awaiting the city of Jerusalem in the near future would be far more devastating.

MAY 30, 2026 AS A FEDERAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY

WHEREAS, from 1967 to 1970, and till date; the people of Biafra endured immense loss of life and displacement during the Nigerian - Biafran Civil War; and in the quest for their freedom which was redeclared on November 29th, 2024; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to set aside a day to honor the memory of the men, women, and children who perished, and to recognize the resilience of survivors and their descendants; and

WHEREAS, the United States of Biafra USB Citizens worldwide preserves this history through remembrance, education, and community solidarity; and

WHEREAS, May 30th has been observed annually by Biafrans worldwide as a day of solemn remembrance, reflection, and commitment to our resilience, peace and freedom,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Dr. Ngozi Orabueze the Deputy Prime Minister / Chief of Staff of the United States of Biafra USB/Biafra Republic Governmemt in Exile BRGIE/ Defacto, do hereby proclaim May 30, 2026, as United States of Biafran Memorial Day Federal Public Holiday

On this day:

1. Remembrance: We call upon all United States of Biafran Citizens to join our Washington DC event physically or online, and observe a moment of silence at 5:00 PM Biafra time; 12:00 noon est. to honor those who lost their lives.

2. Education: Schools, libraries, and community centers in Biafraland are encouraged to host programs on Biafran history and the value of freedom and peace.

3. Community: United States of Biafran families and allies are invited to gather at village squares, Obi umunna, memorial parks, community town halls, for memorial services, cultural tributes, dances, parades and youth scholarship activities.

4. Service: We encourage acts of charity and assistance to families whose breadwinners were incarcerated in different jails across Nigeria and Biafra territory. Visit, and send food, money to them, especially PM Simon Ekpa at Finland and Onyendu Nnamdi Kanu at Sokoto prison.

5. We call on the invading Nigeria state to withdraw its military, police and agents from the United States of Biafra and territory and respond to the peace call from the USB government.

Businesses and institutions are respectfully urged to recognize this day and allow observance by USB employees and students who wish to participate.

May this day strengthen our commitment to our freedom and protection of our land, remembrance, reconciliation, and the dignity of all peoples.

Finland broke the law of estoppel (watch 3 videos)

From November 2024 to date when Finland government arrested, removed and jailed Simon Ekpa, over 3,000 (three thousand) Biafrans have been either killed or forcefully removed by the terrorist state of Nigeria headed by President Tinubu.

The killings and forceful removals of innocent Biafrans by Nigeria headed by President Tinubu was what Simon Ekpa was fighting to stop

These facts have been confirmed and condemned by world leaders and court rulings from the United States of America, Canada, Kenya, Nigeria etc.; other international organizations such as the UN, OEAS, AEI - Michael Rubin, Amnesty International, Pan African Forum Ltd., and others have reiterated exactly the words and recommendations of Simon Ekpa.

After granting estoppel, the party who made a previous representation or promise is legally prevented from contradicting it, ensuring that the initial statement holds binding authority.

Finland recognized the position of Simon Ekpa in Biafra, granted visas and gave immigration passes to Biafrans approved by Simon Ekpa, coming to Lahti Finland for Biafra redeclaration, then turned around to arrest Simon Ekpa and other 4 innocent Biafrans in Finland stating that he Simon Ekpa was inciting Biafrans?

Knowing fully well that the oppressed (Biafrans) has the right to use any means legally possible to stop the oppressor (Nigeria), and that the right to resist occupation and oppression is regarded as a fundamental aspect of the human right to self- determination;

Finland has the blood of innocent Biafra citizens on its hand as a direct consequence of colluding with Nigeria to break the protection they gave to Simon Ekpa

This action exposes the lives of innocent Biafrans who looked up to Simon Ekpa for protection to be massacred by the Nigeria state immediately Simon Ekpa was arrested and beyond.

This transnational repression that has cost lives of Biafrans will not be forgiven or forgotten.
