@piersmorgan Why not? Unconscious bias is part of being human and it is damaging. Raising awareness and supporting groups that can feel excluded in our world, showing them and others that they have a place and a voice is key to creating a more inclusive and diverse society.
@Fizzinnf@MartinaBuchal@MERITMarlou@SholaMos1@JoBerry9 A good starting place is teaching how to review ongoing unconscious bias, which we all suffer from. Then understand how individual behaviours impacts others. It starts with developing self-awareness skills and the ability to stand in another person's shoes...not just our own.
@Fizzinnf@MartinaBuchal@MERITMarlou@SholaMos1@JoBerry9 By teaching what it is like to stand in others shoes and be on the receiving end of this type of dialogue and to remind them that it is far harder to be in the centre of the ring having a go, with the potential of failure, than being a spectator on the sideline playing it safe.
Flowers in hand, foot loose and stress free...how easily children can teach us, if we let them, the skill of living in the present moment, in flow. This mindset supports our wellbeing, creativity and performance. To understand more about flow click here https://t.co/yvSpgn64Kd.
@WFFSummit Thanks very much Jess and Dave for inviting me to speak this morning. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope the rest of your series goes very well.
As teens return to their studies at home this week, in my latest #blog I'm wondering how we can offer them some certainty in this uncertain world. #teenagers#mentalhealth#lockdownUKnow#pandemic

Totally agree! 'Free range' learning has got my kids self-directing and structuring their own time - building impressive dens, decorating these with their own artwork, role playing...being happy to be left to think, create and learn by themselves! Key skills in the adult world!
How will the UK schools shut-down impact on kids and families? Could Q - a free app developed for teenagers - help? Read my blog for more information

@BurgessBev @KPBusinessMgmt Well done Bev. So looking forward to reading it for all those extra pointers because if anyone can get business going it is you. Your track record proves this point. You have supported and taught me so much too!
@Fizzinnf@SimoneRoche@emilythemac Well done @AdeleMitchinson for making your idea happen! Fantastic support @NorthPowerWomen too! The more we can encourage and show our children how to build #confidence and believe in themselves, in what is often now a noisy and at times judgemental world for them, the better!
