It’s tragic how often empathetic people are mistreated. Because their empathy won’t allow them to hurt others, they end up hurting themselves. The goal isn’t for them to learn revenge. The goal is to create space for them to be safe, but especially when expressing empathy.

Dishonesty isn’t shamed as much as it should be.
Lying isn’t just wrong, cowardly, weak, immature, and a sign of low intelligence.

It’s also abusive and the ultimate show of disrespect.
When someone lies, they deliberately give you false information so you’ll make decisions based on a fake reality.
That means your CONSENT is VIOLATED. Your autonomy is overridden. You are no longer choosing freely — you’re being steered.
That is control. That is enslavement.

Whether someone:

• lies directly to harm you

• lies to you to smear someone else
• lies to others to recruit them against you

• or lies to protect themselves while someone else is harmed
They are abusing EVERYONE they lie to.
It is the ultimate expression of disrespect someone can show you.
Even if the target of harm is someone else, the lie itself is still abusive and incredibly disrespectful to YOU— because it manipulates the perceptions, emotions, and decisions of the everyone being lied to. They’re using you like a mindless tool in their commission of abuse. How does that make you feel?
Outraged!

This is why lying sits at the core of:

• gaslighting

• smear campaigns

• triangulation

• propaganda

• narcissistic abuse

• coercive control

Dishonesty forces people to participate in a reality they did not consent to.
That’s not a small violation.
That’s not a misunderstanding.
 That’s not “just how some people are.”
It’s disrespect.
It’s coercive control.
It’s abusive to everyone being lied to.

You deserve better than that. Don’t stand for it!
