If you want to experience wickedness and injustice, you need to come to Lagos.
This is the receipts a colleague of mine sent to me few minutes ago, his vehicle was impounded at the late hours of yesterday by the Lagos state police task force.
He was arrested from an exit way in a BRT lane, along bayo shodipo inwards ikorodu road.
There's an ongoing road repair in some section of the road but there's no proper sign to alert motorists of alternative routes, especially if you're a stranger and not familiar with the changes.
The diversion is not properly communicated so you're on your own.
So the task force unit guys will hide in a blind spot where you will be caught unaware and arrest you forcefully.
He has paid #70,000 fine with his debit card to an unknown account via P.O.S.
This is what we are facing from this government. This is not fair.
Few months ago i paid 100k to this department of government for towing the vehicle drove against my wish because it got damaged on the road.
Sanwo-Olu and co.
Dear @ImoPoliceNG, there are three criminal elements parading themselves as VIO officers on the Imo State side of the road leading to Port Harcourt via the Okpoala-Etche road, extorting citizens in the name of working for the Imo State government.
I think they sometimes have a police officer working with them, as I have witnessed such on one occasion.
They mount roadblocks and use heavy logs to block the vehicles of unsuspecting travellers on that lonely part of the road and then carry out their criminal activities of extorting citizens.
There is a woman who runs a POS service for them. They take owners of impounded cars, often on trumped-up charges, to the woman and have them make cash withdrawals as payment to them before their impounded vehicles can be released.
They typically come out around 10-11 AM every day.
Please, help arrest these criminals who are giving the Imo State Government a bad name, exploiting citizens, and bring them to justice to face the full weight of the law.
