"A force of life. A force of nature." Robin Greenfield's family remembers her as "one of the unsung heroes" of New York City. She died from Covid-19 on April 22, 2020.
Have you thought about the difference between being culturally responsive and critically conscious? I didn't until I listened to @RestorativeNYC (Erin Dunlevy) discuss "Being culturally responsive as a white teacher” #IBCREStories https://t.co/7oimZEMBjp
Thank you Teneika Benn for a great STEM Framework Presentation with the Kahoots game that illuminated aspects of STEM education. #eSTEAM is equity through STEM, preparing our students to access STEM Majors in college to access STEM jobs! #AdvanceEquityNow#AccelerateLearning
STEM framework presentation during Brooklyn North Day. Partnerships are the heart of STEM programs. Excited to create STEM-centric cultures in our schools. @ExecSuptKWatts @ExecSuptKWatts #eSTEAM

"This children’s reading list ... highlights resistance, resilience and activism; and seeks to empower youth to participate in the ongoing movement for racial justice." Have you read—or taught—any of these books? https://t.co/eGen6msQHB
More racist, anti-Semitic Nazi propaganda turned up in western Prince William County, this time in leaflets weighed down by bird seed.

Let’s select students for our top public high schools in a manner that best reflects the talent these students have, and the reality of who lives in New York City. Let’s have top-flight public high schools that are fair and represent the highest academic standards. https://t.co/f8AYqmFaaI
