Even during the hottest weeks of summer, New Mexico was powered by 62% renewable energy.
Just five years ago, coal and natural gas generated about 83% of the electricity serving PNM customers in July.

Today, thanks to our investments in solar, wind, battery storage and grid modernization, renewables are generating the majority of our electricity while keeping prices below the national average.

While the Trump administration works to roll back clean energy progress, New Mexico is proving that investing in renewable energy creates jobs, strengthens our economy and builds a more reliable electric grid for the future.
