My first journal article is now out! It's about staff perceptions of bioscience teaching labs across the UK, to help determine how to make the most of these important sessions.
Thrilled to see it published open access in @FEBSOpenBio: https://t.co/PxGihB6uEy

@MelMLacey Thanks for sharing! And thank you so much for your mentorship during the publication process! Very pleased we got chatting at the Bioscience Education Summit last year😊
Very proud of our new Quant Skills for Biomedical Science resources - a big focus for my 2023 so far!
Hoping they help many students: from those who are nervous around numbers, to those who are more confident but struggle to apply to biomed contexts.

It's day 5 at #SACI44@SACI_chemistry!
@iainthistle had a great time spotting the local wildlife on a hike yesterday - is anyone an expert who can identify these guys? 🐛🪲

@implausible17 Love Advent of Code! I'm using it to improve my Python 😀 Got to day 10 last year but some of that was a struggle, I found it ramps up rather sharply in complexity around now - I gotta work more on my data structures and algorithm skills. So fun and well-designed though!
I'm looking to find researchers/practitioners who are doing interesting work in play and higher/adult education outside of Europe, North America, and Australia. Any recommendations? Please RT.
Thanks for having us at #BioSummit22 - excellent event with fascinating talks all around, and great hosting from @Nige1980 Lovely to catch up with new and familiar faces to @LearnSciHQ
Having a cosy night in with Beans and NPC Tea from @milmocomics ahead of @PrideCaf this weekend. Excellent and just what I needed honestly.
@thischucklehead made a good call picking it up last year 😁 (the book, not Beans - though he was a good shout too)
One month until Student Insights Survey opening day! 📆 Thanks to those who have signed up already - there’s still plenty of time to register interest in this cross-institutional study.
