A scary but big moment today, don’t think ECT1 me would ever have believed I’d get this far 🥹

So proud of @EmilyGibbins presenting at our twilight tonight. She was so confident and knowledgable!🩷

[Emily Gibbins @EmilyGibbins]

Absolutely over the moon with the feedback on my MA dissertation, especially on a project I care so much about. Even more thrilled to be graduating from my Master’s degree with a distinction - studying alongside full time teaching has been hard work but so worth it! 👩‍🎓🥰

[Emily Gibbins @EmilyGibbins]

Master’s degree so nearly done… final edits to make on my dissertation then I’ll have my summer holidays back 📚☀️

[Emily Gibbins @EmilyGibbins]

When every other teacher you know has finished for summer… time for Y6 residential 🧗‍♀️☀️

ECT induction officially completed and passed 🥳🥳
This time last year I didn’t think this would ever happen. I feel so lucky to be in a school that has built my confidence up and where I feel valued and supported. Very excited to see what next year brings 🤩🥰

No idea how SATs have already come around! First year in Year 6 and I could not be more proud of them as we head into this week, though can’t help but feel the nerves 🫣

Very excited to be dancing in this event next weekend!

@artofearlyyears @pauldixtweets Hahaha caught out 🤣 always easier to read on a sunbed though ☀️🍹

[Emily Gibbins @EmilyGibbins]

Really enjoying rereading @pauldixtweets ‘When the Adults Change’. I first read this in the very early days of my teacher training, so it’s been great to revisit 2.5 years later and reflect on how my practice has developed. Lots to take away on how I can refine it further.
