Metro and partners gathered yesterday to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new apartment community in Montavilla. Beacon and Aldea at Glisan Landing will bring 137 affordable apartment homes to the neighborhood, including 41 apartments with wrap-around services. #MetroHousing

Yes! I discovered rereading during in peak pandemic times when libraries were still closed. Currently rereading a novel I first read in 2019 and am finding so many new nuances this time around. Highly recommend. 🤓📚

2022 was (necessarily) pretty isolating. I spent the first 2/3 sprinting to finish my PhD and the other 1/3 aggressively resting to recover - both while working full time+. I am hoping to build more community and foster more connection in 2023. ✨

@KwaniALunis Just 3. 6th grade ELA/SS, 9th grade PE (was also a social studies teacher), and our HS Band director 9-12. This was 90s-early aughts in outer east Portland, OR. No Black administrators.
