Watching the Mickey Mouse Monopoly movie made me realize a lot of things that are wrong with Disney movies that I did not see when I was a child. Did you guys have some realizations when watching the movie? #lesson11
@m_orbel1 It was a great way to communicate but as you said it’s a big group therefore we couldn’t communicate with everyone in the class. Maybe if we were separated in our respective group number we would’ve been able to communicate with more people and get to know them better.
@alissya_educ307 I have never tried because I know I am addicted to social media, and I know it's a problem. But it has never prevented me from doing my school work or interfered with my work.
@AlexaDSchool Yes I remember those days! We had laptop carts at my elementary school. As soon as we saw those carts, we knew that the class was going to be fun
@chanellynndam Yes, nowadays kids get access to technology at a younger age when they cannot fully comprehend the impact that it can have on their lives. therefore, having basic knowledge can only be beneficial.
@kareem_khalid2 Most likely deleting it. As others have said, I didn't need it before this class therefore do not think I will be needing it in the future.
@m_orbel1 @EmilyGagliano1@Alessan17656171 I agree but I think it depends on the circumstances of the video. If it’s a Karen go for it but if it’s someone that is per example making fun of someone that is vulnerable, I don’t think it’s acceptable.
@Alessan17656171 Totally agree with that! I don’t understand why people think it’s okay to film people without their consent and even without them knowing. They didn’t agree to being filmed and even more importantly they didn’t agree to be posted online for thousands of people to see.
@LukasEDUC I think it depends on the child. Not all of them behave the same way, and some are more wild online than orders and need more monitoring than the ones who understand the consequences and impacts that the same media can have now and in the future.
@HumairaaEduc307 I think it was a great idea to hide the number of likes. A lot of people can feel pressure from the umber of like they get from their social media posts and feel that it reflects on them in different ways than just a simple number.
@kxrinac21 I think it depends in what context. In the highschool where I sub, all students have their own ipads. Teachers can see what the students are viewing on their ipads in order to ensure that they are doing their school work and not scrolling through social media or playing games.
I think that the main reason why we don’t read the terms and policies is because they are in fact way too long to read. They probably even do that on purpose in order to discourage us from reading at all. #lesson9
