@avspacemuseum Good question! Folks might be surprised to know that curatorial work includes making the collection accessible to the public by way of answering questions and helping them plan artifact visits.
@Railok@avspacemuseum Great question! I'd probably choose the Canadarm currently on display in Canada in Space. It could be pretty useful in any odd jobs around the house! https://t.co/RKYEPSzdK0
The second Gendered By Design webinar was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to the presenters and shout out to @MIBMcCullough. Your research project on @IngeniumCa's flight attendant uniforms is one of my faves. #heelsdown#eyesup
Join us on January 13th at 12 pm EST for #GenderedByDesign Webinar - Women in Aerospace Edition. 3 speakers will discuss the ways that equipment, technology, and even memorabilia, are gendered, sideline, and even degrade, women in aerospace.

In honour of #InternationalDayOfPersonsWithDisabilities we are highlighting the Elaine Anne lift system. This prototype was designed by a father who wanted to help facilitate the access and operation of a vehicle for his quadriplegic daughter. #IDPWD https://t.co/RxVFGHDGKv
In 1985 @IngeniumCa acquired the James Swail collection from the NRC. Swail, a blind engineer, developed several technologies to assist him in his work in the Radio and Electrical Engineering Division between 1947 and 1985. #IDPWD
This Wednesday I'm excited to moderate a discussion on "Lost Science: #COVID19's impact on Canada's Research Landscape" hosted by @IngeniumCa
This is a big topic! Gaps in data, labs gone dark, new projects, poaching...how has COVID affected your science?

Just finished the second visit with @AlgonquinColleg students to @IngeniumCa's historic Governor General's cars. They spent hours measuring and photographing these artifacts. Looking forward to seeing what they end up producing.
There is no cooler collection than @IngeniumCa transportation collection. Standing inside the Governor General's Car looking out on a Lidgerwood car. Amazing pieces.
Want to know what its like to look after Ingenium's artifact collection? Have a burning question for our artifact conservators? Wednesday November 18 is #AskAConservator Day. Our conservator Erika Range will answer all your questions!
