In 1985 @IngeniumCa acquired the James Swail collection from the NRC. Swail, a blind engineer, developed several technologies to assist him in his work in the Radio and Electrical Engineering Division between 1947 and 1985. #IDPWD

An obstacle detector and a light sensor (that still works) were a few tools that Swail designed and used in his work.
