So I’ve noticed train tickets have gone up in price. This is a calculated decision knowing people are desperate to see their loved ones. This is actually evil.
We have buried NHS colleagues in this pandemic. Colleagues who died caring for others. Colleagues who made less in a year, than these management consultants are paid in 3 days- to build a system that doesn’t work. Our government is failing us all, and getting rich while doing it.
“Low plastic stool, cheap but delicious noodles, cold Hanoi beer.” This is how I’ll remember Tony. He taught us about food — but more importantly, about its ability to bring us together. To make us a little less afraid of the unknown. We’ll miss him.
