Chronic atrophic gastritis increases risk of gastric NETs (gNETs) and adenocarcinoma. Among 199 pts at risk for gNETs, the 5- and 10-year cumulative incidence was 6% and 18%. Hypergastrinemia and alcohol use were associated with increased risk of gNETs.
