Let's #ChangeTheStory and #EndMalaria for good!
An estimated 2.2 billion cases of malaria and 12.7 million deaths have been prevented over the last two decades.
But after years of steady declines, progress to end malaria has stalled.
Friday is #WorldMalariaDay. https://t.co/haDXLIKNyV

Who will make it more clear that a country/continent can be the root cause of its own problems? What does it take to overhaul the dependency mentality?

With fresh perspectives, tech-savviness, & passion for justice, they can disrupt systems of complacency and drive accountability. From leveraging technology to exposing unethical practices & fostering transparency communities, young people are redefining how we tackle corruption!
The fight against corruption requires more than just laws and policies; it demands a total shift in values, driven by the energy, innovation, and integrity of young minds.
Youth are uniquely positioned to lead this charge.
Recognizing the interconnections of Human,Animal and Environmental Health are crucial in ensuring resilient livestock systems. The three domains cannot be addressed in isolation.#OneHealth#ZoNoHchallenge
"Malaria is as old as Egyptian civilization itself, but the disease that plagued pharaohs now belongs to its history and not its future." - @DrTedros@WHO
YES! Congratulations go out to πͺπ¬ EGYPT on being certified #ZeroMalaria π
But......is the current generation upto speed with the current global state of affairs? What role are we playing in all this as young people?
Let's normalize #IntergenerationalDialogues
My last highlight of this week.
A candid conversation with Mr. @GuyRyder Under-Secretary-General for Policy at the United Nations and former Director-General at @ilo on one of the biggest challenges in international cooperation today, which is navigating geopolitical tensions.
These often overshadow global issues like climate change, public health, and economic inequality.
These tensions continue to hinder collaboration and lead to fragmented approaches that are exacerbating existing problems.

@jan_vanzanen
