Now we know why Peter Thiel packed his bags for Argentina.
Milei just submitted his AI legislative framework to Congress, where he proposes:
- zero regulation on AI development,
- a brand-new "non-human corporation" category for AI/robot-operated entities with limited liability
-a low-tax regime with flexible governance rules.
The Dutch East India Company gave the world the limited liability company in 1602. Milei wants Argentina to do the same for autonomous AI agents in 2026.
Now we know who in the EU is protecting even Ben-Gvir and Smotrich from sanctions.
At yesterday’s EU ambassadors meeting, according to @destandaard:
🇩🇪Germany insisted on leaving out Smotrich, limiting it to Ben-Gvir.
🇨🇿Czech Rep. alone against sanctioning even Ben-Gvir.
HAPPENING NOW 🇨🇴 Students from Universidad del Valle, one of the largest public universities in Colombia, are striking against far-right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella until after the second round of the presidential election.
“The public has swung 49 points against data centers in just nine months, underscoring the heightened political salience of the facilities and the AI industry that they embody.”
Germany has failed to win a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council.
Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul (CDU) secured 104 votes in the General Assembly, falling 23 short of the required two-thirds majority. It is the first time Germany has missed out on a rotating seat.
Vote for us “precisely because we’re not the Germans,” as one senior Austrian diplomat put it. Wadephul had met about 80 ministers or ambassadors in person at the U.N. since Friday, according to representatives familiar with his efforts." https://t.co/bYyX3TckQr
People don't grasp the sheer speed and scale of Europe's decline.
This 👇 is an extraordinary number shared by Luis Vassy, director of Sciences Po (one of France's most famous schools) in this article: https://t.co/BQbkXb2kPl
He calculated that the EU is declining 3 times faster than the Qing dynasty at the height of China's century of humiliation.
Back then, it took China 50 years to drop from 30% of world GDP to 17%, whereas it took the EU just 17 years (from 2008 to 2025).
Insane 😢 And, sadly, given the current direction and the EU's systematically suicidal policy choices (latest example: https://t.co/6EYJgdXVVo), it's just the beginning...
People on TikTok are like “If someone you don’t know says hi to you as you pass them on a sidewalk, they’re engaging in a manipulation tactic called ‘boundary-bombing’—here’s 5 signs to look out for” and then their next post is “The Village Theory” about how people need community
The Israeli army has ordered the evacuation of the entire city of Tyre, nearby Palestinian refugee camps and villages - a day after ordering the evacuation of entire city of Nabatieh in southern #Lebanon
The Pope has weighed in: AI isn't magic. It is produced by a currently deeply exploitative, extractive supply chain. It challenges human dignity; it could fuel a new colonialism. And among the greatest challenges of our time will be to redirect its path of development.
Hasta el 70% de las habitaciones reservadas por la FIFA en Boston, Dallas, Los Ángeles, Filadelfia y Seattle han sido canceladas, informó la Asociación de hoteles de EUA.
still not quite over the fact that i watched 15 year olds get sued for millions of dollars for downloading twelve songs and now we all have to accept AI slop because every tech company in the known universe decided that IP laws don't exist now that they're inconvenient for them
French authorities are investigating an obscure Israeli firm called BlackCore for allegedly running a digital smear campaign against left-wing LFI candidates during France's March 2026 municipal elections.
Three candidates were targeted with fake blogs alleging sexual misconduct, anonymous social media accounts, and coordinated ads.
Meta traced the network back to Israel and removed it.
One candidate withdrew from his race; another lost a close runoff and is asking the court to annul the result.
BlackCore's website and LinkedIn disappeared after Reuters contacted them.
No one has been charged yet, and Israel says it's never heard of the firm.

that he's never thought about this - while the AFD is polling in first place nationally with a 5 point lead – echoes countless conversations I've had with center-liberal politicians and pundits who are all gung-ho about the necessity of re-armament by any means necessary
Leader of German Greens:
- wants more people to join the army
- considers scenario where main opposition party (leading the polls) takes ministry of Defense "not real"
- recommends soldiers to desert (a crime) in such scenario
- admits he never thought about it before
