Just another not rare day for me.
It is a rare day that I do not have a conversation with a whistleblower in Utah.
It’s been a long election season, and there are many things I know that I cannot say……..yet.
What I will say is this:
We need tighter control environments and ethics rules- at every level of government.
Helping yourself, your family, friends, donors or business associates benefit from your government position- elected, appointed or hired is a violation of the public’s trust.
And based on the hot-line reports currently being provided to my office - I’m not the only one getting very, very sick of it.

What in the actual $!?&!!??
Only one narrative will be allowed?
This is exactly when, where and WHY the details matter.
It’s going to be interesting to see where there are still actual honest journalists and journalism existing in Utah.
@NormieUtah@gopTODD I think the sheer size of this one has people all over the state genuinely concerned.
I’m glad it brought to light how MIDA is operating. You can’t roll out a project like this without real public input, gaslight & target people who voice valid concerns and win over the public.
Sens. John Curtis (R-Utah) and Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) debut a new "Disagree Better" video on CNN today:
"While we're busy shouting at each other, nothing's getting built"
@Fwd_Party Unethical, unaffordable, and unsustainable.
Working families are footing the bill while billionaires pay less in taxes.
Here in Utah, two jobs can’t buy a starter home, some people can’t even afford gas now.
@digitalcole_@AndrewYang 💯 predatory debt trap. I’ve paid student loan interest since day one. 15+ years later, 75% repaid, only 25% to principal. Still drowning in interest for a degree that doesn’t pay a living wage in Utah anymore.
The value prop isn’t the same.
@LindsayOnAir@JmanSLC@NateForUtah@johnforutah The original language was vague about how survivors could prove DV. I worked throughout the session to fix that, and now survivors can simply sign an affidavit. As I said in committee, it’s unacceptable to suddenly force survivors to prove they “deserve” continued protection.
#BREAKING The GOP-backed @RepealProp4 has failed to qualify for the ballot. The @UtahGOP chair thanked Utahns who "spoke loudly in the face of an unprecedented onslaught of biased media coverage, outside influence, and judicial interference." @abc4utah https://t.co/ipAvw6iViW
dear apple, the iPod needs to come back. not for nostalgia. for the parents who want their kids to love music and audiobooks without a browser, social media, and the whole internet attached to it
It turns out our first third-party legislator in who knows how long was genuinely moderate. When I calculate ideology scores, Sen. Buss lands right in the middle @FWDUtah (10/11)
It has been the honor of a lifetime to represent the people of Provo in the Utah House of Representatives for the past 4 years.
I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished together to advance policies that make Utah a stronger & safer place for families.
Some key efforts included:
• Reformed Utah’s homelessness services system and expanded recovery-focused programs
• Strengthened victims’ rights & enhanced public safety.
• Improved mental health crisis response & expanded street medicine access
• Expanded the free school lunch program for the 1st time in 25 years
• Created a scholarship fund for the children of police officers, firefighters, & EMT’s who are killed in the line of duty
• Promoted upward mobility through permitting reform and workforce initiatives
• Stood up for the men & women who have built our roads, housing, & infrastructure and advocating for good jobs.
As I start a new chapter tomorrow, I just wanted to express my thanks to everyone who has supported me & mentored me through these important moments! 🇺🇸
NEW: Utah’s Senate president says this bill did NOT pass in time. “After careful review, I determined that H.B. 212 did not pass within the constitutionally required timeframe.” He says all bills are reviewed “to ensure compliance with constitutional and statutory requirements.”
