@Allesontiire But you followers of Satan have stollen the name, when you guys should really be calling yourselves anti-Christians; just like your master is the anti-Christ.
@Allesontiire Well, at one time the words Christian and Catholic were synonymous; and then heretics came along and co-opted the name, making it today, basically a name with no true meaning.
At some point Protestants need to round up their children and tell them they need to stop sounding like idiots when they go online to represent Protestants.
Nate, I get that you might think you are doing something good; but what you are doing is giving Protestants an even more bad name.
Okay, to be honest if Protestants didnโt all their time here on X slandering the Catholic Church, I wouldnโt say anything about any Protestant at all.
The gloves come off when Protestants who for whatever reason are obsessed with slandering Christโs Church constantly.
If you go on my feed you will not find a single OP slandering the 1st Baptist denomination.
Donโt come here pretending to be a victim when you throw the first punch.
@AL_J82 We will still be growing worldwide; and sharing the Gospel to all Nations.
Dude you are part of a flash in a pan; weโve been around for 2000 years.
@NateBornAgain Well when you do constantly, what should you expect us to do? Heck there is this thing called a Catechism online, so you have no excuse not to educate yourself.
But slander and misinformation is what you peddle in, so I donโt expect you to stop.
Maybe we are talking past each other I donโt know, what we know from Scripture about he reality of the situation is that the Romanโs crucified Jesus, on the encouragement of the leadership of the Jews in Jerusalem. That is what happened that all could see.
What happened in true reality is that Jesus came to sacrifice Himself for our sins, to make atonement. The Jews and Romans were HIS instruments by which to carry this out.
Again blaming the whole race of Jews for the death of Jesus is stupid and naive; especially when the Christian Church started out being entirely Jewish.
Also, that being said, just become some of the Jews had a hand in Jesusโ crucifixion, doesnโt give someone an excuse to be antisemitic, which we all can see is back on the rise in this country.
@ModernBoethius I wish they would stop doing this. Should Jews become Catholic? Without a doubt. Do they have to stop being a Jew? Absolutely not. One can be both.
So, what you are saying is that we have no idea how many Protestant/Evangelical denominations that are out there, right? If that is the case, may there is more than 40,000. I guess the question is how do you handle non-denominational churches. Are they denominations among themselves, or should we not consider them Christian until they prove otherwise.
I've been seeing some weird takes lately from people claiming to P/E's.
