@MurraySuggests@MurraySuggests If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
We have to tune down the amplification on kidnapping and banditry in Nigeria, not because we are afraid but because it's the right thing to do, basically the upsurge in this terrorist act is to create fear, heat up the polity, let's be smarter @woye1@NGRPresident@NOA_Nigeria
Attended #WHXLagos and brooo... the amount of tech in medicine I saw these past few days was insaneee!!!
From diagnostic equipment to automation systems to many more, it really hit me how much healthcare could improve if some of these technologies were actually deployed widely across Nigeria.
Sadly, many of these innovations seem to exist only at exhibitions and in movies.😂
Had a great time though!💯
PS: Today I learned that there's money, and then there's MONEY.💀
People were paying for machines in dollars...Cash down. No discussing payment plans, No asking for discounts...just pointing at equipment that costs more than some houses and saying, "We'll take it."
I don leave this MedX business for una. There's real money outside, make I go touch grass abeg😂
We had a road rage earlier this morning along Abuja-Keffi-Akwanga Road, I can't believe that Nigerians still lack basic necessity such as water in 2026, people going in search of water by 5am. @NGRPresident@NGRSenate@officialABAT@NasarawaGovt@GovNasarawa
You need to come to Nigeria and see how MDs here fought tooth and nail for the Dr. title. They literally go to med school to earn the title and NOT the degree
Medical Doctors: Hey, I'm the cardiologist keeping you alive, just call me Alex.
PhDs: Please refer to me as Dr. Monica, I did my thesis on ancient pottery.
Look, I know the word 'Doctor' comes from the Latin docere (to teach). I know academics had the title first and I have full respect for the grind. But why are they always the ones defending the title like their lives depend on it?
If someone screams "Is there a doctor on the plane?!" absolutely nobody is looking for a Doctor of Philosophy
Nigerians need to wise up and open their eyes, an average Nigerian MD doesn't really care about your health, all they cared about is money and power over other HCWs, please what scientific assessment made him advocate for close up if NOT money_PR. @Fmohnigeria@muhammadpate
I remember watching a drama unfold at the airport recently. A lady was frantically searching her bag for gum because her mouth was feeling somehow, and her friend didn't even try to console her. She just said “Na your toothpaste dey do you.” and I couldn't agree more.
So many people rely on just brushing their teeth that they forget their tongue too. Or they think minty gum will save them. My advice: Pay attention to your teeth and your tongue, and scrub it properly.
And use a toothpaste that works well like @Closeupng.
Last week, I did 6 SFAs. On the last sample, I focused the microscope to check for motility and traversed the whole slide but I didn’t see a single tail not to talk of a sperm cell. I thought I picked the sample wrongly, so I made another slide same thing. I called two other
@viswaggie I researched on potency of measles vaccine in Maiduguri metropolitan area, got WHO grant and support in polio lab where they provide me with free cell lines and working tools. The work was published in 2010 and has attracted over 800 citations
Honestly I think to end this discord ones and for all
Let Twitter MBBS present their best
To use MBBS knowledge to attempt
3 lasts exams of BNSC including the professional exams 😀😅
@
Also use it to attempt the board exams of MLS, Pharmacy, physiotherapy
Let's see the outcome
Since the take here is that they know what all other profession entails....
"Ones again, there's a reason all other professional qualifications, licence, degree doesn't come with MBBS"
You can't claim to know a course more than someone who used 5,6,7 years study just that.
it is NOT in the smiling rather in polite humble way of clarifying the true identity (Medical Laboratory Scientist) and NOT an MD because there are MLS who are academic Dr.
AS A MEDICAL LAB SCIENTIST, WHY WOULD YOU BE SHINING YOUR TEETH CUZ A PATIENT CALLED YOU DOCTOR???
One thing Medical Laboratory Scientists need to stop doing is smiling proudly when patients ignorantly call them “Doctor.”
Medical Laboratory Scientist are trained phlebotomist and also carry out procedures such as mantoux test that requires injecting PPD. So when you list medical professionals that uses syringes and injections, do well to include us please
Just because somebody wears a white coat does not mean they are a medical professional.
By Nigerian law, injectables are strictly for doctors, dentists, and trained nurses. But because nobody is asking questions, quacks are treating human faces like a drawing board.
If you're a medical professional looking to get into aesthetic medicine or you’re already in it, the quackery in this space is getting out of hand. It is a clinical disaster waiting to happen. But you can fix it.

This is too impossible to believe, now I know why Indian government spend so much money making movies of propaganda for the world to se then differently
