A new school of pharmacy is coming to @uniofgalway!
It seems likely enrolment will start in 2025.
No longer will highly talented, highly intelligent, highly capable students from the West of Ireland have to travel abroad to Dublin or Cork to get a degree in pharmacy…
This is likely to coincide with the emerging national pharmacist prescribing guidance and legislative changes, which are long overdue.
@JohnGivenjohn played a key role in this.
For some reason that I do not understand, the cancer pharmacists in the West NorthWest are excellent. I think it will be a great place to come to learn.
