The kicker in this ‘mistake’, according to the protected disclosure, someone also allegedly reported that the surgeon from Great Ormond Street agreed with the palliative diagnosis. Which is a lie. The surgeon from GOSH absolutely supported the need for surgery to go ahead. It wasn’t until months later that the whistleblower saw the report from GOSH that contradicted what had been reported by certain staff in CHI.
@CarrollJennifer@SimonHarrisTD this protected disclosure was in your possession prior to our last meeting and yet you never once discussed it with us or attempted to give us any clarity. You sat there while I spoke again about how we still did not have answers as to what happened to Harvey and you chose to keep this information from us.

It's something else having to watch your home fall apart in front of your eyes...I will never understand why this was allowed to happen and why not one manufacturer has been held to account, they have destroyed lives & full communities
Every word in his piece is very well constructed but listen carefully and drill down, he says lots of things but absolutely nothing at all.
The bystander Taoiseach. If you read this piece you wouldn’t think this was the leader of government.
Where is the social care legislation, the safeguarding legislation, enhanced protection for whistleblowers, total reform of Hiqa.
Powers, governance, responsibility, duty of care, accountability. That’s what any family in this situation wants.
The Taoiseach’s response does nothing to help prevent exactly the same thing happening again.
Rinse and recycle stuff doesn’t work.
“He has criticised recent comments made about the speaking time debate by Minister Lawless, who cited Ward being given the opportunity to speak in Leaders’ Questions as the sole representative of the 100% Redress Party in Dail Eireann.”

It is so hard to believe that this is concrete manufactured in one of the richest nations in the EU. Standards are there for a reason so this doesn't happen, yet we have 1000s of innocent families left with homes falling apart. Things need to change @NSAI_Standards @NBCOIreland
The Housing Agency won’t release records to at least 13 homeowners affected by the defective block crisis because the publication of these records, the agency claims, could “endanger the life or safety” of Housing Agency staff.

I've listened to this mans argument to a government TD looking for votes from defective concrete victims in Westport County Mayo & also wonder why has the @FineGael@fiannafailparty or Minister for housing @DarraghOBrienTD never pursued the offenders of this €3 billion scandal?
