Had such a good time at #CHI2023 with @alexfeuillet and @LoranKnol. Met new, amazing people and enjoyed exploring different topics in the beautiful Hamburg CCH. Looking forward to more exciting research in the future!
Thank you @alexfeuillet, @EmmaNing4, and Hamburg for a great #CHI2023! I was amazed by the depth and diversity of the content, but most of all the people. Can't wait to present my own work soon; stay tuned!
I'm coming! #chi2023@acm_chi@sigchi near continuous and passive measurement of #brain#health and parents are right when they say PUT DOWN UR PHONE AT NIGHT! full video featuring team member @EmmaNing4: https://t.co/DvPV5bQCT1
@QMmmmmmLiu I have the same question. Curious what you find. Not exactly answering your question, but our biaffect team Stange et al (2018?) looked at how many days the model needs to predict future depression severity, I believe. Keep me posted if you find a review paper!
Does anyone know review papers discussing average number of days people use in daily diary studies and the average number of “moments” by “day” in EMA studies?
@fegutigirl Nooo!! What a dream. You’re strong and capable and many of us love you as colleagues. Your value is self determined and not dependent on anyone else😊
🤯😁🥳 🎉Fall 2023 will have been a decade after I moved to the states and I will be joining the clinical science area of Department of Brain and Psychological Sciences at Boston University @BU_CAS as a tenure-track assistant professor.
@SPL_CPalmer eg1, use an equation, mentions variable k but never define it before or after but proceeds to compare k to n.
eg2, bring up the word 'atoms' even though never defined what they mean. Wasn't clear whether atoms are data points from a person, numbers in matrix, etc.
IMHO, writing a complicated paper with as many terms and variations of synonyms should not be what science is. Any brilliant idea presented this way only discourages exciting cross-domain applications and serves gatekeeping purposes.
