Incredible scenes in the latest Democratic Majority for Israel FEC filing. They gave:
• $200k to United for Progress, a pro-Espaillat Super PAC
• $100k to New Yorkers Fighting Back, a pro-Goldman Super PAC
• $500k to Women Vote, EMILYs List's IE arm

Inbox: A new super PAC, Guardrails Alliance, launched today to take on AI industry PAC Leading the Future. It is spending $250,000 on ads supporting Alex Bores for NY 12.
NEW ad supporting Diana DeGette in CO-1 from Pro-Choice Majority Action PAC. The PAC has likely ties to Democratic Majority for Israel PAC.
DeGette is running against Melat Kiros, who is outspoken about Gaza & was fired from her law firm for defending pro-Palestine students.
It's my first day as a staff writer at The New Republic. I'm in D.C. covering Democrats in Congress, and I'm so excited to get started. If you're in that world, please reach out at [email protected] or (312) 989-2993 and let's grab coffee!
This is my last story (!) for The American Prospect, a tour of the National Public Housing Museum in Chicago. Feels fitting to end my time at TAP (and in Chicago) with a story about housing and poverty in this city.
Here's a terrific tour of the nation's only public housing museum, built out of the last remaining building of an older project & containing 15 units of affordable housing on the premises.
It repositions public housing from denigration to a place of joy. https://t.co/vOnV7meA1h
New AIPAC-aligned spending vehicle in disguise just dropped.
"Better Blue Fund" is a new JFC bankrolled by DMFI/AIPAC donors supporting dem candidates, many of whom are in competitive primaries where direct AIPAC support has become radioactive. Blue Fund acts as a workaround.
That includes Ben McAdams in Utah's first. Previously McAdams was DMFI endorsed but not this cycle. Hence, his inclusion in the JFC makes it all the more significant.
5 of these 8 endorsements are in contested primaries, including CA-22, where Jasmeet Bains has taken PAC money from 53 corporations that also donated to the incumbent Republican (David Valadao). This thumb on scale stuff didn't work well for Schumer... https://t.co/DyYa3qrecg
There's a classic moderate v. populist primary in a swing seat in California's Central Valley. But the moderate, Jasmeet Bains, has tailored views to different audiences: both for & against Medicare for All, & that Israel is & isn't committing genocide.

Many of the components stuck in the Persian Gulf (with now double blockades) specifically impact the semiconductor sector, which was already devoting more attention to AI data centers than consumer electronics, making everything we buy costlier.
