@DrLevsky A really traumatic social experience. Though I reacted by getting emotionally distant and guarded, also acting out and getting a bit wild. It took making some really strong connections with some great people to pull me back from that and feel comfortable with my old self again.

@DrLevsky You're not wrong about that. You never really ever entirely stop being the person you were. Your past influences your present and future and all of that. What worked for me was coming to terms with things in my past rather than just always trying to run away from it.

@DrLevsky It took some hard lessons for me to get there, and I probably over-corrected for a while after, but I think I've struck a pretty good balance now.

I'm glad you were able to grow out of that behavior too. Some people just don't and grow up to be forever terrible people. 😔

@KousukeTsw You're not wrong. Mundanes aren't exactly known for their best judgement when playing around with things they don't understand. I've had to save more than my fair share of ones that get in over their heads.

@KousukeTsw Fair enough. Though it's a good way to find what and where needs to be dead (or more dead). Also a good way to cover your costs. Downside though is that you have to indirectly work for the factions.
