Here's my article about who we are, why we're trapped, why we are heading for planetary collapse, and what we must do to prevent it. It might not be saying much, but I think this is the best thing I've written. https://t.co/l9aLVivMZt
Hey #Medieval Twitter, I’ve been thinking about how much fun it would be to start a podcast about medieval women. Would anyone be interested in collaborating on a project like that? I realise the world might not necessarily need another history podcast, but… I don’t care. DM me!
Some initial thoughts, a.k.a. my podcast manifesto (please add ideas of what you’d like to see):
I’m thinking it would be good
1) to try to steer away from eurocentrism
2) to have a platform with source material available on the side
3) for it to be in the form of an interview
Thank you so much everyone for the lovely responses! It’s amazing to see that there’s so many people who are also interested in the lives of medieval women 😍 for all those who’ve very generously have offered to help, I’ll send you a DM today so we can chat!
For all who might be interested, I've written a short piece for @MedWarMag all about how medieval people conceptualised the Holy Land!
It's titled 'Crusader imaginings of the Terra Sancta - Where was the Holy Land' and is available on their website: https://t.co/XtNA5xzkKl
This is so hard to listen to. The worst is realising there are tens of thousands of women in the same position…
