Today our glorious co-convenors Barbara Baird and Brigid Ann Coombe @BrigCoombe were invested with their Member of the Order of Australia medals, making them officially (according to extensive saaac knowledge) the first abortion activists to be recognised in these honours ๐งก๐งก

3 years ago I became fixated on a history lecture about the Womenโs Liberation Movement and domestic violence. In a full circle, yesterday I had the privilege of guest lecturing the same topic! Hopefully across the 2hrs I convinced someone of the importance of this history๐ค
So happy to be a joint recipient of a James Millar Main Prize for History Honours, but even happier to share this achievement with my brilliant supervisor, @catherinekevin5. Iโm so lucky and grateful to be working with you again on PhD. Thank you to everyone who has supported me!
