Ba dear,
To be honest, 2023 was a year for me, having taken this step to first acquire knowledge from .@reachahand and then after, use it to conquer social media as a lane to foster change in society.
To the whole class of #PEA23, we are worth what we've achieved this year.
Real Impact of the Parish Development Model (PDM).
Meet Mr. Patrick, a poultry farmer from Katakwi Village, Butebo Sub-county.
With PDM support, he has built a successful poultry business. He feeds 70 birds using only 10kg of feed per day and earns a clean profit of UGX 20,000 daily.
He collects 45 eggs every day, hatches them, and sells the chicks at UGX 2,500 each. From one batch, he generated UGX 575,000 in revenue and made a profit of UGX 425,000 after costs.
“This money is not little,” says Mr. Kedi Patrick. “PDM is working for us!”
His story shows how PDM is helping farmers move from subsistence to a real money economy — creating income and self-reliance right at the parish level.

Every week we lose lives to reckless riding, illegal stages, congestion, and crime linked to unregulated operators.
If we can license a tour guide, event organizer, or hotel, we can certainly regulate boda bodas.

“You cannot say that you have Shs158 billion to purchase cars for MPs and then claim that you do not have Shs 28 billion to pay medical interns’ allowances, with the excuse that it would crush the economy. By the way, doctors are rarely in the hospitals. It is the medical interns who are everywhere doing the donkey work,” Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu

Dancer Hustle Quin, who tragically lost her life in an accident in Bweyogerere, had expressed a wish that if she ever passed away, her fellow dancers would give her one final farewell dance. She also wished for her favorite artist, Karole Kasita, to deliver a speech and perform at her send off.
Her wishes were honored during her funeral, with fellow dancers paying tribute through dance and Karole Kasita taking part in the ceremony. However, the farewell drew mixed reactions, #NBSAfter5

Uganda Police need to understand that this is going to be one of their biggest tests this year. The public deserves clarity, and we need to see this man as soon as possible.
Let’s all tag @PoliceUg and responsible officers and ask them to act like they always do.
