As the world is focusing all of its attention on Lebanon and the strikes by Iran against Israel, it’s important to remember that not only is there a war still going on in the Gaza Strip where this all began, but Hamas terrorists are still using criminal thuggery to kill, maim, harm, torture, beat, silence, and terrorize the Palestinian people in Gaza. This is for all the useful idiots in the Western world who fly Hamas’s flags and cheer on the Islamist group – remember that Hamas is the enemy of the Palestinian people and has set back their just and urgent aspirations for freedom by decades. This is what Islamist terrorism on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran does. @moghaoui
If you think Israel & Zionism are going to die away or disappear, you are in a delusional world of empty poetry.
Zionism was the culmination of 1000+ years of Jewish displacement, pogroms, and enslavement.
You can't just pretend that did not happen.

Their families went to the ends of the earth to bring them home. They survived for a year in the tunnels. Only to be murdered because their rescue was imminent.
It is incomprehensible. I am heartbroken.
The author accuses Noa Argamani & Israeli society of being “twisted” and “filthy” because she had the nerve to dance after she was:
- kidnapped by a terrorist group
- held in captivity for 8 months
- subjected to inhumane treatment
- miraculously rescued despite many hostages being killed or remaining in captivity, & while 1200 of her peers on Oct. 7 were slaughtered, raped, mutilated, dismembered, & tortured for the goal of creating an oppressive Islamist state under sharia law
- returned to Israel only to have her mother die of brain cancer immediately after.
The radical fringe left fetishize oppression so much that they demand surrender to a life of shame, guilt, subjugation, self-hatred, and negativity to be considered “good” or “worthy,” punishing joy & praising self-hate.
The author says that Noa had “8 months to reflect on life,” what exactly was she expected to reflect on as an innocent young girl who was kidnapped by malignant jihadist terrorists and held in captivity? How much she hates herself for being Israeli? How much she hates herself for being a Jew?
The oppressor/oppressed paradigm they subscribe to requires Jews, by virtue of being born sinful as the “oppressor,” to attain “absolution,” a religious philosophy where the sinner is released from punishment. In their (actually twisted) view, this holy salvation occurs when the Jews hates herself, regrets her existence, and experiences only states of unconsciousness, grief, guilt, shame, and remorse.
Sorry that she didn’t she meet the standards to be in your sad club where all good things go to die. Sorry she refused to be plagued with guilt for existing.
To whoever is reading this that has miraculously survived unimaginable horrors and still grieving traumas that no human should have to endure -
Smile.
Laugh.
Dance.
Love.
Be happy.
You deserve happiness. You deserve joy. You deserve life, and please stay far, far away from anyone who makes you feel otherwise.
Noa, we love seeing you dance again, sweet girl ❤️
first words Sonya Massey said at her front door were “don’t hurt me”
she was told “why would we hurt you, you called us”
when have those words meant anything when your black and woman in this country
when do those words protect you from not being murdered in your kitchen, in your bedroom, with your babies, or on your lawn
what is “reassurance”, in this place ?
rest in power Sonya Massey, and an abundance of love and power to Sonya’s family on this journey
Israel was established in 1948. But Jews lived in the region for thousands of years.
Before Israel existed, here’s what Jews in the Middle East could NOT do:
1. Ride horses.
2. Be eye level with Muslims.
3. Had to pay tax not to be murdered and pillaged.
4. Could not testify against a Muslim in court.
5. Could not bear arms.
6. Could not move freely after certain hours.
7. Couldn’t dress without imposed Jewish symbols (like the yellow stars we saw in the Holocaust.)
In 1941, my grandma survived the Farhud. It was massacre against the Jewish community of Iraq, encouraged by the Nazis. Thousands of Jews were attacked by a mobs, which was backed by the Iraqi government.
My grandma had to flee Iraq - they even took her citizenship. So did with other 150,000 Jews.
Today there are no Jews in Iraq.
They were ethnically cleansed.
This didn’t just happen in Iraq. Jews were ethnically cleansed throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
Almost a million Jew ran for their lives. The only place to take them wasn’t America, or Britain— it was Israel.
Israel saved my Iraqi mother and my Tunisian father.
It will continue to save Jews from everywhere else.

Scary Zionist doctors & nurses? I have significant asymmetric hearing loss in my left ear from an IDF bombing that almost killed me in Gaza as an 11-year-old & killed two friends of mine (I’ve talked about this incident in past pieces that were published). This injury still causes me complications to this day. When I came to the U.S. from Gaza as a teenager (alone/without my family), an Israeli American neurologist whom I met through a dialogue group worked tirelessly to set me up with MRIs, CT scans, and hearing care to understand & manage my condition. When my dad, a former UN physician who worked in the Jabaliya refugee camp, Dr. Fouad Alkhatib, was diagnosed with cancer in 2019, an Israeli team at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem worked entirely for free for over a year to help provide medical care for his lung cancer, which unfortunately took him from our family in 2020. Jewish & Israeli doctors are some of the kindest, loveliest, most caring people I’ve ever met. Even if we don’t see eye-to-eye politically, the claim that these healthcare professionals are supposedly dangerous to people of color simply because they (docs & nurses) hold different religious and political beliefs is extremely false, antisemitic, and highly offensive. If you actually talk to many Palestinian patients from Gaza, they’ll tell you how wrong & inaccurate this person’s hateful racism is.
I lost both of my parents on the 7th of October. I still believe that peace with the Palestinians is the only way.
My loss is no luxury.
We need a resolution, to prevent others suffering in the way we have - Palestinians and Israelis deserve peace, equality and dignity.

If you are Jewish, you should read this thread. And if you are not Jewish, you should read this thread. Believe in miracles but also work to achieve them. And Happy Chanukkah.
The Netanyahu government, or hopefully a new Israeli government, must understand that not one penny will be coming to Israel from the U.S. unless there is a fundamental change in their military and political positions. Read my statement:
John Ossoff, the 36 yr-old Jewish senator from Georgia, articulated a clear-eyed case for why 🇺🇸 should insist 🇮🇱 protect civilians in Gaza.
An unmitigated humanitarian disaster in Gaza, he said, is a moral failure & undermines American national security.
A 6-year old boy stabbed 26 times, just for being Muslim, according to detectives.
This is unspeakable.
I pray that love can prevail in these times of so much hate. https://t.co/fkaHZzM0fN
