@Jennifer_Estep Oh Thunderbolts is much better! I was surprised by how much I liked it. Brave New World was fiiiiiiine. Thunderbolts has some genuine laughs in it. But a bit of an abrupt ending in my opinion!

@Jennifer_Estep I re-read books all the time, I often struggle to start new ones! I’ve read the Kate Daniels series, Mercy Thompson, Gin and the Hollows series over and over!

Not so much with TV shows or movies, although I did have a phase of watching Avengers Endgame when I was sad/ill 😂

But I will say that I used to hate olives and now I love them, so I’ll always have a sip of anything just in case I’m suddenly old enough to enjoy horrible wine or whisky. Ugh.

I had almost identical conversations on Fri and Sat with two different people (coincidentally with the same name) about why people persevere with disgusting drinks because you can acquire the taste. I drink alcohol that - and I quote - was invented for alcoholic toddlers.

ie it tastes nice, is probably too sweet and isn’t hard work. I tried five ‘different’ whiskys tonight and had to have vodka chasers because omg, disgusting. I really really tried. But no. I will not persevere. I’ll go back to my rhubarb mojito and my woo woo thank you very much

I’ve had permanent retainers on the back of my teeth for almost 8 years now. Most of the time I just forget them, but sometimes they’re so irritating it’s like I’ve just had them fitted. Now is one of those times 😬
