Moving through rural communities with @tradmedit, I’ve seen how traditional medicine remains part of everyday life.
Listening to Traditional Birth Attendants share their knowledge reminded me of the deep wisdom our ancestors carried.
It was an honor to present during the first National Biodiversity Conservation Reserach Symposium organized by @Ugwildlife and @Uwrtc . Presentation title: Perceptions and Attitudes towards Urban Green Spaces: A case of Kampala Metropolitan Area.

Applications are reviewed to ensure alignment with conservation objectives, ecosystem integrity, and wildlife welfare.

Passed by the Giraffe Centre this morning to visit my long-legged relatives.
Family meeting went well, although they spent most of it looking down on me. 🤣🤣

Open to the Public. Uganda Wildlife Education Conservation Mbale branch is now open to champion Wildlife Education Conservation in the Elgon region. Plan your Eastern route and Mt. Elgon Conservation Area circuit accordingly. 📍 Mbale-Tororo Road.
Yesterday marked another exciting milestone in the journey of UWEC Mbale, with the arrival of lions adding to the growing list of wildlife species already settled into their new home.
Today, the facility opened its doors to the public, giving communities and learners in Eastern Uganda a chance to connect with wildlife like never before.
The overwhelming interest from schools and families is a true reflection of the facility's purpose. To inspire conservation, promote learning, and bring wildlife experiences closer to the people.
As we celebrate this important step, we now look ahead to the official opening ceremony this Friday, 12th June.
