Those against Peter Obi's presidency fall into four categories.
1st Category: Thieves who steal public funds to remain relevant in the society.
2nd Category: Aspiring thieves who want to enter government by all means to steal their share of public money.
3rd Category: Idiots and oh-yes members who stand to gain nothing than a cup of rice and they will sing your praises for four years.
4th Category: Tribal bigots who would rather die in poverty than see a competent person from another tribe become president.
You know which category you belong to. π«΅
An American bank partnered with a Nigerian man to launder $308 million of Nigerian government money.
The money left Nigeria through American banks. It then sat quietly in a shell company for years while the man lived comfortably in Texas.
In 2003 American authorities arrested him. He spent six months in federal detention in the United States waiting to be tried.
Before the trial happened he offered to return $163 million.
America accepted. He flew back to Nigeria.
Nobody questioned him. Nobody charged him. Nobody prosecuted him.
He ran for Senate and won. He ran for Governor and won. He ran for Governor again and won.
America returned the $308 million his operation had laundered.
The new president then put him in cabinet.
America did not trust Nigeria with the $308 million.
They tied every dollar to three specific roads. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Abuja-Kano Road. Second Niger Bridge.
They even included a clawback clause. Misuse one dollar, pay it all back.
Why the conditions? Because previous loot returned to Nigeria had already disappeared.
Nigeria's own government told the court they had no record of how the earlier billions were spent.
A man who laundered billions is currently Nigeria's Minister of Budget and Economic Planning.
He decides how Nigeria spends its money.

Can Peace Reign in the land?
What have we done wrong that has brought us this level of insecurity? When can peace reign in Plateau, Benue, Niger, Sokoto, Kwara, Kogi and all the other troubled states of our nation, or should we just accept now that security in some parts of Nigeria has become a norm and impossible to handle? Should we just give up and accept defeat and surrender to fear while our people continue to die and our communities are ravaged and destroyed?
We cannot let this become the new normal. The violence is not inevitable, and peace is not impossible, it is the failure of leadership that has made it feel otherwise. We must demand action and refuse to accept a Nigeria where some states are abandoned to chaos. Silence is not an option. We must secure our nation before more lives are lost.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
"Your Pastors are not the government. Leave them alone"
I'm tired of seeing this stupid line of arguments.
Your government leaders kneel before your Pastors every Sunday.
Your Pastors craft nasty messages like "Saul will come before Paul" to enable blood sucking demons into power.
Your pastors are complicitly evil.
Your Pastors do not control security or policies, but they control 80M Christians. They have an obligation from a place of influence.
Not even the Bible you teach from, sidelines the effect of religious leaders in spinning the wheels of power.
Your Pastors are IN FACT the government. Literally and metaphorically.
About 3 currently active Governors are serving ushers in big 3 churches. Your former vice president was a Senior Pastor. Your EFCC director is. Your first lady is. Your Ministers are.
YOUR PASTORS ARE THE GOVERNMENT.
