HE WON AWARDS FOR INDIA & THEN SPENT 5 YEARS IN JAIL IN A FALSE RAPE CASE PLOTTED BY HIS EX-WIFE: THE UNBELIEVABLE STORY OF KRISHAN SHARMA

Born in a very poor family, Krishan Sharma made Boxing his life. Won state, national and international championships & made India proud. His dream was to represent India in Olympics.

But .....He was barred from playing the sport after it was discovered that he had a lens in his eye which was put after a surgery when he was a small child. He had no clue. He cleared all medical tests for years but then he was suddenly barred.

Devastated, he tried to take his own life. But his parents gave him strength to fight back.

He opened his own academy. Fell in love, got married. But destiny had some other plans. He caught his wife cheating on him red handed. She left him.

When he asked for an official divorce, he was beaten up black and blue by her family. He filed an FIR. She also filed FIR alleging unnatural sex, domestic violence etc

A compromise was struck after intervention of senior officers & he moved on in life focusing on his boxing academy

His students started winning medals and he decided if he couldn't go to Olympics as a player, he will strive to be there as a coach

But destiny again had other plans.

His ex-wife got a boy planted in his academy. One day Krishan was arrested at midnight by police saying the minor boy has filed a rape case against him.

Without iota of evidence, he was immediately jailed. He kept applying for bail and it kept getting rejected just because he was an accused in a POCSO case

When his mother learnt of the charges and that her son was in Jail, she went into complete trauma and died. Krishan didn't get bail to even light her pyre. He eventually got permission to attend her tehervi but after he went back to jail, he was quarantined and kept in a 6x6 cell for months.

Krishan had no one else to even talk with just a cat his companion whom he served the little milk he got while he was in this kaal kothri

After 5 years of trial, he was found innocent where the court observed that there was not a shred of evidence against him. Medical report of the boy was negative, his ex-wife threatened witnesses not to depose in his favour & he had himself demanded a Narco test

But this acquittal did not mean much for Krishan. His life was totally shattered

A man whose name was written on a stone along with other achievers of his village celebrating his victories, he was now a condemned man who had been to jail for years, society still treating him as Guilty

Despite so many setbacks in his life where his love, friends and the sports which was his life betrayed him, he is still making an effort to live

He wants to revive his boxing academy back which is in deplorable condition and we @ekamnyaay are crowdfunding money for the same for him

Today, she’s an integral part of the Taj Bengal family.

Every morning at 4:30 am, Thumki takes her ‘perimeter rounds,’ inspecting the grounds, chasing birds, and doing her part to keep the campus lively.

By the time guests start their day, she retreats to her cozy shelter near the parking lot, always respectful of her human visitors.

Thanks to the compassion of Senior Vice President Operations K. Mohanchandran and his wife Seema, an animal rescuer, Thumki and other campus dogs now have safe shelters, vaccinations, and ongoing care.

Even when Thumki curiously wandered into the grand hotel lobby one day, she was met with smiles and kindness before being gently guided back.

Because true hospitality is not about marble floors. It is about heart.

▪Tis Hazari Court, Delhi, ordered the filing of a perjury complaint against a woman for filing a false rape case against a man in order to extort money from him.

▪Court observed, “an acquittal simplicitor would not subserve the interest of justice as the law must not only punish the guilty, but it must also protect the dignity of an innocent.”

▪The case arose after the woman alleged that the accused, whom she had met through a matrimonial website, sexually molested her during their first meeting in his car and took her nude photographs.

▪She claimed that on protesting, he assured her of marriage and promised to delete the photographs. According to FIR, he later engaged in vaginal and anal intercourse with her against her will during a subsequent meeting.

▪While acquitting the accused, ASJ Anuj Agrawal observed that the prosecution’s case was not supported by credible evidence. Court found the woman’s testimony unreliable and lacking the “sterling quality”. The judge concluded that she had fabricated a false narrative to implicate the man.

▪“The said circumstances, if seen cumulatively, unerringly lead to only one irresistible conclusion—that it was a case wherein the victim entrapped the accused in a pre-planned manner on the pretext of matrimonial alliance so as to extort money from him,” Court said.

▪Court noted that such false complaints not only burden an already overburdened judicial system but also cause harm to genuine survivors of sexual assault, as they waste precious judicial time and drain the limited resources of State.

▪The judge further stated that he was pained to observe that the accused was arrested in undue haste even before the registration of FIR as was evident from the testimonies of SI and IO.

▪Although attempts were made to justify the arrest as mere detention, Court held that the accused’s liberty was unlawfully curtailed the moment he was picked up from his house.

▪It was also revealed that SI had been in frequent telephonic contact with the complainant, speaking to her 16–17 times before the FIR was registered.

▪The defence contended that the SI, IO, and then SHO were in “cahoots” with the prosecutrix in a bid to extort money from the accused.

▪Accordingly, Court left it to the discretion of Commissioner of Delhi Police to look into the role of the SI, IO, and then SHO for possible misconduct, and to take appropriate action in order to uphold the motto of the Delhi Police—“Shanti, Sewa, Nyay.”
