@liminalhigh We wrote the ordinance to give city staff enough flexibility to craft an enforcement/audit approach that pencils out. There must be an audit, but it will be contingent on the bottom line, so to speak.

@liminalhigh Hey Dean! Because vacancy data is so poor in our community, we can’t say for sure. However, if only 500 units are vacant, the tax could generate up to $3 mil. We think there are much more than 500 vacancies based on anecdotal data.
