2021: WFH is the future.
2024: Hybrid is the future.
2026: "come to the office 4 days a week because of culture"
The culture: Everyone with noise cancelling headphones
New York City is really so good at collapsing the dating hierarchy that you’ll finally meet the partner putting the hottest person you know through hell and it’s someone who looks and acts like an inn keeper before electricity
Today I received FOUR death notifications for people in ICE custody. That's 30 deaths since Trump took office. It's appalling & unacceptable.
ICE is required—by law—to ensure detainees are safe & their basic needs are met. It's clear this isn't the case. We NEED answers.
Boomer at or near retirement with a fully inflated 401k, pension contract from before the 2008 financial crisis, house he bought in the 80s, going to be receiving free healthcare for the rest of his life:
“Things seem to be going pretty well!”
he is angry because he is going to school and working full time, has $17 to his name, owns nothing, and has no hope his life is going to improve even if he continues to do everything "right.”
and boomers in the comments are laughing him. sadistic lack of empathy for the young.
Ive been killing it with older people lately. They'll ask "how's it goin?" So ill respond "another day"
They'll say back "another dollar, right?"
Then it hit them with a "hopefully more than one"
And they're LOVING IT

I was canvassing for that man when he was at 2% and while he was out there talking to people, the establishment was so comfortable in their assured victory that they didn’t see a need to do anything but win off name alone. That arrogance has now turned to anger and bigotry.
One cannot love God without extending one’s love to the poor. Love for our neighbor is tangible proof of the authenticity of our love for God. The Lord himself teaches us: “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Mt 25:40). #DilexiTe
