Brilliant to be @royalsociety Summer Science Exhibition this week for 'Radicals!' - showing the study of electrons with magnets and microwaves (EPR) - taking the public from looking for radicals in tea, to quantum tech and OLEDs! (photo cred. @Sel4Science )
I am in Boston this week to share our work at the 'Molecular Quantum Systems' symposium at MRS Fall 2024! Thank you to the organizers and Prof Alexander Kuehne for the invitation. #F24MRS
Exciting PhD opportunity with us @ryanlabswansea and @EmrysLab that will look to exploit quantum effects in organic semiconductor memristors.
Fully funded and includes generous budget for travel and advanced training. More info in link.

It was great to see @FuchterMatt in Swansea today! Congratulations on the @RoySocChem prize and thank you for the brilliant talk on chirality ๐ in materials and devices for @SwanseaChem!
Fully enjoyed a social dinner with lovely people including @EmrysLab, @MaxAttwood!! Guess who behind Emrys? Many thanks for the invitation to such a wonderful meeting! See you all in Kyushu in the next Optical Probe 2025!!
I'll be hiring a Level A/B postdoc in the coming months (no formal advertisement yet, since I'm waiting on the release of funds)
I'm looking for someone with an organic optoelectronic device fabrication and spectroscopy background. Email me for a chat!
Retweets appreciated
The research I began at end of my PhD with @EmrysLab has finally been published in @Nature! The excellent Sebastian Gorgon took on the project and has demonstrated that the molecules we designed provide a robust spin-optical interface for use in emerging #quantum technologies ๐ก
Well done, John! Showcasing the work he has done on light and magnetic properties of organic semiconductors during his PhD @SwanseaChem, with thanks to @SCIupdate for his scholarship ๐
We hear first from graduating scholar, John Hudson @SwanseaUni, who talks to us about his research on photomagnetism as well as the SCI events that have helped support him. Congratulations John!
