Cheers to @hayhaygilbert for completing her viva! 🥳

Hayley’s research focused on using X-ray absorption spectroscopy techniques @DiamondLightSou to study halide segregation in lead halide perovskites.

[Xian Wei Chua @XianWeiChua]

Excited to share my latest co-first author work, published in @NatureNano! Here, we show thermodynamically guided growth and controlled phase distribution using a halide-site-substituting spacer, enabling efficient vapor-deposited quasi-2D perovskite LEDs

[StranksLab @StranksLab]

Last week @SamStranks had the chance to visit former @StranksLab postdoc (now Sr Lecturer) Wenxin Mao and prof Udo Bach at @MonashUni and give a talk on the latest work from the group, including on epitaxial perovskite heterostructure growth and dynamic perovskite nanodomains!

[Xian Wei Chua @XianWeiChua]

Delighted to present my work at the Cambridge Microscopy Meeting 2026, on visualising energy flows in emerging semiconductors for more efficient devices.

Enjoyed the rich discussions and valuable learnings.

Thanks to the organizers and sponsors @cebcambridge @StranksLab
