@srein00@MrJohnJnr Not giving preferential treatment to minorities isn't hate. Assuming you have to give preferential treatment to minorities because you don't think they are good enough is super racist.

Supply and Demand... More renters raise demand and therefore prices. Populations are growing faster than housing can be built. The lumber we need to build houses was planted 10 years ago. Factor supply and demand into construction materials too and factor it's a national surge in demand, including Canada.
@CA_Dem π Who's going to tell them?
Today's Immigration policies are pretty much just Clinton and Obama's immigration policies. Especially the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 signed by Bill Clinton.
No one is allowed to watch the World Cup
@Robertwaldeck@jimiuorio Yea... You would think young people tied to jobs would vote early to work around their work schedules that require physical presence.
@MAGAWoodworker I was having this issue earlier. The original post was deleted making all replies impossible but still visible through your notifications.
Congress has been failing us citizens for too long but The Democratic Party has really been kicking it up a notch.
No one wants to believe it, but we need both parties to work together to create policies that benefit the population while not creating putting the nation in a fiscal tailspin. Everything really seemed to fell apart in the late 80s/early 90s. Between Newt Gingrich and the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine in 1987 the divide became unworkable.
Outside of GDP, which metric are you using? The population is shrinking as people are moving away at record levels. Businesses are leaving due to unfriendly policies and surging crime. Oil refineries are shutting down due to policies. Worst unemployment. Worst homelessness. Worst with adult literacy.
The only thing California can brag about is its GDP, but unfortunately, a large portion of it is due to California's extremely high cost of living, with nearly 20% of the entire GDP being from Real Estate alone.
I suppose you could use the idea that they're a donor state when it comes to Federal Fundings, but bragging about paying more taxes doesn't feel like something worth bragging about. But, for fun, when you have the largest portion of the population, with the highest cost of living, paying taxes based on percentages, obviously you're going to pay more in taxes.
