@AXSChat We have seen and experienced women architects taking interest in the work we do, passionate about inclusion and creating accessible environment. #AXSChat#EnableMeAccess
Younger generations are often less tolerant of existing inequalities and more likely to challenge the status quo, pushing for a more inclusive built environment and society. #AXSChat#EnableMeAccess
@AXSChat We strongly believe that training the students and youth on the subject of #acceessibility can bring a dynamic shift in the much-awaited change in the built environment. They are more proactive because they are exposed to more and more oppurtunities. #AXSChat
@AXSChat Yes, it is a great solution, not just allowing persons with disabilities but other diverse users like elderly, children, pregnant women. #AXSChat#EnableMeAccess
@AXSChat#SocialMedia has been a great tool for raising awareness around accessibility and Inclusion. EMA has been following it through interesting podcasts on its YouTube channel. #EnableMeAccess#AXSChat
@AXSChat Once we have Persons with disabilities in decision making and implementation, we can have more voices heard. When a person with lived experiences is in professions like Architecture, Law, the sensitivity towards inclusion is more resulting in larger implementation. #AXSChat

Today in a market, a man asked if I was born disabled. He then said, “God's making you wash away past life's karma.” He then asked about my sibling, and expressed relief for my parents that at least my brother is able-bodied. Can’t believe these conversations r happening in 2024
@CABEIndia@DRI_Law@TheOfficialSBI@SCVashishth All this is done with the approval of local planning authorities. If they did their job this would not happen. No construction should be given a completion certificate without inspection and rejection of such nonsense!
