No pride, no honor, no shame... While European leaders are preaching for peace, Russia has been expanding its war operations and turning its entire economy and society into an engine for perpetual war. Emboldened by European impotence, Putin has now openly brought North Korea to the frontline. NK ballistic missiles are already hitting Ukrainian cities and Metz + Co are too afraid to even discuss NATO options to shoot down these deadly objects in the Ukrainian skies!
Even during a literal war, there has been no Iranian refugee wave into Europe. At all.
Instead, Europe keeps getting flooded by exploitative third worlders from shitholes that are NOT at war, and where they face NO persecution.
The entire asylum system needs to be uprooted.
The "Unburnt Bookshelf" has appeared in Central Park, featuring charred books that survived the Russian strike on the "Ranok" publishing house warehouse.
"These books have become a symbol that Ukrainian culture cannot be destroyed by missiles. The fire damaged the paper, but failed to burn memory, the word, and our resilience 🇺🇦" - Kharkiv Central Park on their social media.
It's very striking how "let's make nice with Russia" is a common thread uniting far-right parties across Europe. Is there any innocent way of explaining this?
@BoggisCat@squatsons This is a lie.🚽🇷🇺 has no right to tell another country what to do, if 🇺🇦 wants to join 🇪🇺 & NATO they should be free to do so. 🚽🇷🇺 annexed Crimea illegally and then invaded 🇺🇦. This genocidal nation has been trying to erase Ukrainian identity for the last 350 years.
There’s a growing movement of “alternative history” in the West, operating on its own alternative facts and selective interpretations of the past. One of its uglier consequences is the increasingly open rehabilitation of German National Socialism.
Part of the problem, I’d argue, is historical illiteracy about Soviet crimes. People were taught a binary version of WWII: the Allies (incl. the Soviet union) defeated the Nazis, therefore the Allies were the good guys (incl. the Soviet union). Now, especially with the war in Ukraine, a lot of that ugly history is unraveling and many discovered that Stalin’s USSR committed mass murder, deportations, ethnic cleansing and subsequently subjugated half of Europe under tyranny.
And because such people can only operate on binaries, the conclusion becomes: if the Allies weren’t the good guys, perhaps the Nazis weren’t the bad guys either.
Except Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union - while ideologically different on the surface - shared remarkably similar imperial and totalitarian instincts: national and ideological supremacy above human life, contempt for smaller nations and "un-pure" races, territorial expansion and mass violence justified by historical destiny.
The revanchist pattern is equally similar: Hitler weaponised Germany’s humiliation after WWI to justify restoring its “rightful” power and territory. Putin has spent decades weaponising Russia’s humiliation after the Soviet collapse, portraying Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians as parts of one historical civilisation that was unjustly divided (by the West, of course).
Both also discovered that successful aggression encourages further aggression. Had Hitler stopped earlier in his expansion, history might have remembered his domestic legacy very differently. Instead, he partnered with Stalin to partition Poland, helped unleash a continental war, and eventually attacked his Soviet partner, opening the Eastern front which led to his demise.
Putin made a similar strategic error. Had he stopped after Crimea in 2014, he might have gotten away with it indefinitely. Europe sanctioned Russia and then largely returned to business as usual. But imperial mythology overrode strategic restraint, and Ukraine’s independent existence became intolerable to the Kremlin.
Once you see the pattern, you simply can't unsee it: humiliation → grievance → historical mythology → territorial revisionism → imperial restoration.
There’s another irony. After German reunification, Berlin rapidly rebuilt its relationship with Moscow. Schröder became its most grotesque embodiment, while Merkel deepened Germany’s dependence on Russian energy despite years of warnings from Eastern Europe.
So it hardly surprises me that parts of the AfD ecosystem - with its well-documented Russophile tendencies and connections to the Kremlin - are fertile ground for such historical revisionism.
It works particularly well on alienated people: convince them that their country was humiliated, their glorious past was stolen, and someone else is responsible for their decline. Wonder where contemporary Europe has seen that political technique perfected?
Oh, right.
Russia.
Raytheon and Lockheed Martin fear Ukraine could improve Patriot interceptor missiles and produce them faster and at much lower cost if granted a production license, The Atlantic reported. US defense companies are expected to cite intellectual property theft and technology transfers as their official concerns. Ukraine first requested a Patriot production license during Joe Biden’s presidency but was denied. Trump has not confirmed that the US will grant Kyiv the license.
Enemy? No. An enemy is to be feared and somewhat respected. He looks down at Canada as if it does not even deserve to be a country and ‘only works’ as a U.S. state.
The damage Trump caused won't be reversed and 🇺🇸 will continue to feel the weight of their choices for decades.
Treating Canada like an enemy instead of the trusted ally that Canada really is for the United States is one of Trump's biggest foreign policy blunders. His approach is also very unpopular among Americans. Hope the damage can be reversed with new leadership in the White House.
Ignore anyone who is scared to say the truth or who will try to call you a racist
There are muslims at war with you
They are infiltrating institutions in order to recalibrate our societies to sympathise with Islamism and jihad
And they want to hamstring your instincts and defence mechanisms that would ordinarily see you oppose their theocratic assault against you
Another murder of an innocent young person in Iran and another day of deafening silence by the mainstream Western media. Actually, not a complete silence -- there is the sound of outlets practically cheering Iranian success in the Trump's botched war. Don't do this. Don't let your dislike of Trump or the war blind you to the dangers and horrors of the Islamic Republic's terrorist regime.
There’s a special kind of people out there. Generation Disney. Living in a bubble of privilege, they think they can hug a russian missile and convince it not to explode through the sheer power of diplomacy. They genuinely believe that singing kumbaya to putin will make him stop being evil.
Everyone else has failed to reason with russia, including the people whose actual lives depend on it. But not her. Oh no!! She’ll stroll into the room, paralyze the Kremlin with her pure charisma, and force them into peace because she saw it work in a movie once, which happens to be her primary source of experience with aggressive neighboring states.
My fucking Goddess! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Here is a small reminder for everyone spreading the pro-russian narrative about "revenge for Wildberries," as well as for any normal person who doesn't follow the war closely and feels confused. Pay attention to the dates!
Russia struck the Amstor Shopping Mall in Kremenchuk on June 27, 2022, with cruise missiles in the middle of the day while up to 1,000 people were inside. 21 people died, and over 70 were injured.
Russia struck the Epicentr Hypermarket in Kharkiv on May 25, 2024. It was a weekend afternoon, and around 200 civilians and staff were inside shopping for home supplies. The blast sparked a high-temperature chemical and building-material fire. We had to use DNA testing to identify victims. 19 were killed, including children, and 46 were injured.
Russia struck the Kostiantynivka Central Market and surrounding shops at least twice: September 6, 2023, and August 9, 2024. Both strikes targeted dense retail zones crowded with shoppers during morning or early afternoon hours. 17 were killed and 32 injured in the September 2023 strike, and 14 were killed and 44 injured in the August 2024 strike on the Eko-Market.
Russia struck the Nova Poshta Sorting Terminal in Korotych, Kharkiv region, on October 21, 2023. Late at night, while employees were unloading civilian mail, parcels, and humanitarian packages, two S-300 missiles hit a location where missiles arrive faster than they can be detected. The 8 people killed stood no chance, 15 people were injured.
Russians continued to strike Nova Poshta in Korotych on January 13, 2026, killing 4 people and injuring 6; on July 19, 2026, killing 4 people and injuring 19; and on August 2, 2026, killing a driver. Among all the attacks listed, only the latest two occurred after the beginning of Ukrainian strikes on Wildberries.
Russia struck the ATB Supermarket & Retail Square in Kherson on May 3, 2023. Hitting civilian shopping infrastructure during daytime hours, they trapped shoppers inside the burning grocery hall. 23 people were killed across Kherson that day: 4 inside the ATB supermarket, 1 inside the Epicentr store, and others at nearby transport stops and shops.
Russia struck the Kherson Central City Market on October 1, 2024. Around 9:00 AM, artillery rounds landed directly in active outdoor market stalls. 7 were killed and 3 were injured.
Finally, Russia struck Kramatorsk Central Station on April 8, 2022, during an active civilian evacuation. A Tochka-U ballistic missile hit packed evacuation platforms, killing 63 civilians, including 9 children, and injuring over 150.
They also struck Chaplyne Railway Station on August 24, 2022, where an Iskander missile hit passenger trains and adjacent cars, killing 25 civilians and burning passenger carriages.
This is a tiny fraction of Russian strikes on Ukrainian retail chains, markets, and civilian transportation infrastructure during the full-scale invasion. A tiny, little fraction! So when you brain-dead amoebas write "revenge for Wildberries," think again. Russia was bombing Ukraine all these years, long before our attacks on Wildberries, and they will continue regardless.
Westoids have absolutely ZERO shame when it comes to acknowledging even the most basic historical facts about what happened to Eastern Europe in the 20th century.
First came the Bolsheviks and the mass terror, executions, deportations and engineered famines that followed in their wake.
Then Eastern Europe became the primary theatre (and killing ground) of WWII, the Nazi regime regarded Slavs as Untermenschen and envisioned the conquest, depopulation and German colonisation of vast parts of the East under Generalplan Ost. Tens of millions of Eastern Europeans died.
And the “reward” for surviving all of that?
Handing us over to Stalin and the Russians for several generations. Millions more endured executions, deportations, political terror, forced Russification and decades of Soviet occupation.
So spare us the condescension and alternative history lessons, you fucks. 🖕
@HistoryLegends_@Levsach6@radiocourtoisie Ok, this is pissing me off! Extremist elements in 🇺🇦 who are uncompromising? The majority of 🇺🇦 do not want to compromise with those who systematically tortured them, put their people in mass graves, abducted their children, leveled entire cities and tried to erase their identity
