Today is Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, the first day of winter, and the longest night of the year. We remember those we have lost and honor their memory by doing everything we can to serve the thousands of men and women in MA still living in homelessness. #endhomelessness
Earlier today, @MassLtGov, @MassEOHED Sec. Kennealy and I were glad to join Speaker @RonMariano, @mayortomkoch and other local + state partners at @FrBillsMnSpring to announce new awards to promote much-needed housing production across MA, including permanent supportive housing.
We are so grateful - an anonymous partner donated 124,000 surgical masks, lots of disinfectant supplies and additional personal protective equipment! These resources are immensely helpful as we continue to adapt to covid-19.

This morning, FBMS proudly joined shelter providers across MA for a legislative event hosted by @EndHomelessMA. Thank you to the legislators who attended, as we requested level funding during this most critical time for our neighbors in need. #mapoli#NobodyShouldBeHomeless
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for our legislative briefing today. There are thousands of homeless individuals across the state who rely on the support of our organizations, state funding ensures that we can help them on their path out of homelessness. #mapoli
With so much work still to be done to help homeless individuals find permanent housing, this could help thousands of men and women throughout Massachusetts currently living in homelessness - from @FrBillsMnSpring via @BostonGlobe

Congratulations to Mayor @marty_walsh on his nomination as Secretary of Labor in President-elect Biden’s cabinet. We greatly appreciate the commitment, efforts and partnerships Mayor Walsh has led to end homelessness in Boston.
