@BlubberThoughts@lofi_lover0930 It feels like a mainline FF game alright. It's just not a good one. It would've been nice if it didn't feel like a modern FF game because if they kept the story cohesion of the first 3 hours and didn't fallback to FF tropes it would've been great.
@aikufe9@kiwitalkz@ZeldaUniverse To be fair, GTA6 will be a whole-ass game and the only time you'll see micro-transaction slop is if you engage with the online, so I don't think that's a fair comparison. For example, I only play the single-player of GTA and have no interest in Online. I like Zelda more though.
@xZenYoshi@lofi_lover0930 I haven't even beaten more than one data boss. I had no issues with those in KH 2 and CoM, but KH3 I just noped out after a while.
@MachoorTV It does make sense because it's four characters per season and I honestly can't even imagine how another game after SF6 would look like. Like SF4, I'm feeling Magnum Opus vibes, and we all know what happens anytime a sequel comes out for a game that feels this way.
@Espadah_@MGTarkus@EndingWalker@FgcGarnet And it’s similar to SF6 which is my point. No character is egregiously stronger or weaker than the other. Tourneys will always be dominated by a combination of strong players and stronger characters.
@AMLOVER218@2sallads I agree. I prefer the KH1 combat. There was more focus on the RPG aspect of things. I don’t want to completely go back. KH2 combat feels like a sweetspot, but I’d like more RPG in my RPG game.
@Espadah_@MGTarkus@EndingWalker@FgcGarnet If by diverse you meant Billy, Gato, Rock and Hotaro, then it pretty much backs up my sentiments that most tournaments tend to filter itself around what’s optimal. Fans of CoTW would also argue that tournaments aren’t fun to watch because of character representation.
@MGTarkus@EndingWalker@FgcGarnet SF4 released with a relatively small roster and a major character imbalance that was Sagat which led to SSF4, which I’d argue didn’t need any further versions. The game also lacked better recovery options. SF6 has top tiers but the disparity between characters aren’t astronomical
@pragart@CNC3TV No. They’re trying to get people used to the SoE so they can just have it active at all times. The criminals have already gotten used to the SoE. There’s no point in an SoE to fight crime if you’re not even trying under regular circumstances.
@MGTarkus@EndingWalker@FgcGarnet The most balanced SF game ever that it doesn't require many changes isn't what I'd call power creep. I completely understand why Capcom would be hesitant to make any drastic changes to the game right now. Games like SF5 and SF4 needed them, but this one got it mostly right.
@sakugacontent It is special. No matter how many times I see it, it's impressive and reminds me a lot about Samurai Champloo. Whoever animated this scene did a fantastic job.
