The largest Cabinet and the largest Ministerial wage bill per capita was just further increased by our "hardworking" PM Kamla. During Carnival. With no revenue generation initiatives besides increased taxation and doubled fines on citizens. This UNC...their end has aleady begun.
The remarkable threepeat by the Hon. Mia Mottley, PM of Barbados, is without question one of the greatest political victories in a parliamentary democracy in the world. 3 back-to-back 30-nil clean sweeps in free and fair elections. Congratulations BLP! You were RED and READY.
The PM's attempt to trivialise the unacceptable conduct of the Minister of Public Utilities at the Lime Fete is par for the course. Nobody cares whether the Minister could sing or not, and it was not "fun". The real issue is the lack of consequences for his deplorable behaviour
This level of insensitivity is scary. There was gridlock in Diego Martin for 16 hours because of this fete, because someone in authority sent 17,000 people into a dead end road.. Yet this Minister thinks this fete disturbed no one and there should have been roadblocks as well!
A UNC Minister just defended the Stink and Dutty fete madness by claiming that it was held away from residential areas and suggested that the police could have used the event to have roadblocks. Are they all MAD? 50,000 RESIDENTS of Diego Martin were stuck at home for 16 hours!!
Having witnessed this horrific video of such a heinous shooting, my heart breaks for these children. I pray they receive the psychological and social support they need, especially the daughter of the deceased. Sweet Trinidad and Tobago, we are better than this brutality.
There are 9,500 km of roads in Trinidad. Some roads have a pothole every 100 metres, which means there are at least 50,000 potholes in Trinidad, with hundreds more springing up every week, due to WASA leaks. How, therefore, is patching 375 potholes, or less than 1%, a success?
It's not surprising that all of the hard hitting calypsonians have been left out of the Calypso Finals. Very different from the PNM eras when calypsonians were free to criticise the Government without any fear. T&T is getting closer and closer to authoritarian, undemocratic rule
Trinidad Cement just announced a 15% increase in the price of cement, as a direct result of the arbitrary 70% increase in the price of natural gas charged by the UNC/NGC to local manufacturers. This will affect ALL construction projects, especially house building. Not a "win"!
The failure of the Zones of Special Oppression legislation was inevitable after the AG told the Independent Senators that the UNC would not accept a single amendment that had been proposed. This was after the PM insulted them by calling them bootlickers. Justice has triumphed!
Kamla Persad Bissessar and the UNC continue to destroy businesses in TT. Her desperate revenue generation measures are actually doing the complete opposite. It is clear that Kamla’s incompetence knows no bounds. The UNC needs to take a course in how an economy really works
Confusion and frustration at licensing offices today, as motorists say they were blindsided by hefty late fees when renewing their driver’s permits. Workers are claiming they only learned of the changes hours before, but the transport minister insists the penalties were announced weeks ago. Kay-Marie Fletcher reports.
FCB SHARES GONE DOWN, REPUBLIC OWN DROPPING, UTC OWN GONNA BE NEXT WHEN PPL REALISE WHAT THEY DOING AND TO TOP THAT INVESTORS IN PANIC MODE.
WHERE AND WHEN EXACTLY THE WINING SUPPOSE TO BEGIN?🤔
FORCED TO PAY LATE RENEWAL FEE
One member of the public tells TV6 he was pressured to pay a late renewal fee, despite him being unable to renew his permit on time yesterday due to the system being down. The system has crashed again today.
Reporting by Rynessa Cutting
Another desperate attempt by the UNC to distract from their incompetence and destructive governance. There is no truth to it whatsoever.

Both S&P and Moody's recently downgraded TT's credit rating Outlook from Stable to NEGATIVE. If PNM was in power and I was the MOF, there would have been dire predictions of economic collapse from the media and howls from the commentators at UWI. Instead, the UNC gets a free pass
