Many Ethiopians are against the use of disproportionate force by government. Our silence isn't an act of condoning the deaths of innocents. Our silence is inspired by fear, fear of what might have happened on hundreds of innocent minorities if security forces weren't deployed.
@AlemayehuGK Or for that matter, any one with family abroad will be allowed to have access to his family via video call so long as they are willing to pay for it?
@AlemayehuGK So does this mean should any other detainee at any given time request to be allowed to be treated by their own physician they will be granted the right to do so?
What ever agreement is reached on GERD, it won’t be equitable until & unless the Colonial treaties of Egypt & Sudan are declared null & void. Ethiopia should stand firm on this. Justice is on its side @AbiyAhmedAli @GeduAndargachew @seleshi_b_a
When I see articles in some foreign news paper and #Egyptians about the vague and unnecessary characterization of the dam by saying "the disputed dam", it makes me sick. It is disputed in their mind. In #Ethiopia we see our dam as a national monument and developmental hallmark.
@elshadai_g To me it sounds more like a combination of wishful thinking to see Ethiopia's destruction + war call signaling to qeerro by casually introducing the idea of murder of dear leader. Also she uses qerro's trigger words like 'imperial', 'Abyssina' and 'Ethiopia'.
