⚡️🇮🇱JUST IN:
A Christian woman was yelling, “Christ is King,” in occupied Jerusalem.
An Israeli Jew then spilled water on her, saying, “This is Israel, [it belongs to] Jews. There’s no place for you here.”
The devotion and anger in the religious fundamentalist’s eyes are a tastament to the degree of indoctrination across generations.
Religious beliefs oblivious to any sign of inteligence.
People like him are no different from any radical terrorist groups.
Would you leave your religion if it had caused so much death? The dilemma being, if an event would happen where your religion requires you to kill, would you? If yes, then you’re devout. If no then, 😂. Is there a middle ground?
Should note that I grew up as English South African, not Afrikaans, and consider myself to be simply an American.
No hyphen.
That said, what’s happening in South Africa is deeply wrong. Not what Mandela intended at all.
@hymelee Avoiding a question not to offend a side is a sign you know you’re leading an entire country not just the people who like you.
lol Americans don’t know “fit” if it hit them in the face.

The Next Global Power Struggle Isn’t About Oil or Arms—It’s About AI!
AI is no longer just a tech—it’s global power. Nations are racing to secure AI sovereignty, making it the new cornerstone of national security and economic survival.
So, forget silicon valleys; we’ve entered the era of silicon sovereignty, aka AI Sovereignty!
This notion of “AI sovereignty” recognizes that whoever masters key components of the AI stack — ranging from high-performance computing to regulatory policy — will profoundly influence the world stage.
The stakes are high! Governments are already investing billions into AI: U.S. $500B, EU $200B+, China $150B+, France $109B+, Saudi $100B, UAE $54B — just to name a few…It’s a geopolitics arms race!
So, Build or buy? Nations face a critical choice: develop homegrown AI or rely on AI superpowers. It’s the age-old tech dilemma—but with higher stakes. AI evolves faster than electricity, computers, or telecom, and it doesn’t just compute—it encodes values.
A nation’s AI dominance is shaped by four key pillars. Compute: power with GPUs; Data: Quality & quantity of datasets required for AI model training; Energy: Availability and cost of electricity to fuel massive AI workloads; Policy: Regulations that shape AI innovation.
U.S. leads in compute, China is similarly advanced and also leads in mobilizing private-sector AI efforts, the Middle East leads in energy, and Europe leads in AI regulation. The reality? No nation dominates in all four!
And while superpowers clash—where’s Africa in this equation?
Countries face a critical choice: Build sovereign AI capabilities or become permanently dependent on foreign algorithms. The cost of failure? More than economic—it’s cultural. AI doesn’t just process data; it encodes values, ethics, power, and influence.
Will nations without GPUs, strong data policies, or cheap energy become AI colonies?
One thing’s clear: AI sovereignty isn’t about isolation. It’s about securing a seat at the table before the rules are written.
The question isn’t “Can a nation afford to invest in AI?” It’s “Can it afford not to?”
The clock’s ticking!
