Remember how I said Dave Plummer might grift again? The TMOG is closed-source and *will* have a Pro version - it's baked in the license.

Wonder why? The app is fully vibecoded (not even by Claude) and Plummer is NOT LIABLE for anything despite the paid nature of software.

If you want an alternative task manager - get TaskSlinger.

- VERY FAST (100ms startup time)
- Author cares a lot
- No telemetry, analytics and anything like that
- Fully native, no React crap
- exe is 2 megabytes

No reason to use slop when high quality software exists

@endermanch Idk about others but I think “display notification” one is AppleScript, not a prompt for LLM. I’m not really sure why they uses AppleScript to show notifications while you could just call native APIs instead

@noop_dev The problem I have is that it's designed to have «pro» functionality behind a paywall from the start. Plummer does what Plummer does best since he left Microsoft – sells snakeoil software. Now ✨️ vibecoded ✨️ too! This is a good example, albeit tame compared to his past gems.
