@KohoutPavel@RDKLInc In USSR at least the cheapest consumer home PCs appeared only in late 80s and would cost 5 average wages or more.. most other stuff was made for schools etc., not for sale. I think it was the same in the other Warsaw pact states, only DIY stuff affordable for those few who cared.

A compiler won't automatically replace float division with multiplication because there is some minor loss of precision involved.

@SergKoloskov@polidemitolog I believe people should be allowed to kill each other, for money or fame, as long as nobody (except their own mental issues and poverty) forces them to do it and no collateral damage. With consent, people should be allowed to take risks and destroy themselves.
