I've just been informed of the violent abduction of my Deputy President for Buganda Region, Hon. Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi, shortly after he was released on bail yesterday.

The criminal regime is doing all this to instil fear within the population, but these tactics have been employed by despots all over the world and throughout history. They never win in the end! UGANDA WILL BE FREE.

We’ve just learnt that on his way back to Kampala from Butambala a short while ago, Hon Muwanga Kivumbi’s car was stopped at a military roadblock in Mpigi, and armed men moving in a drone have taken him away to an unknown location!

This accident that occurred yesterday at 09:34 pm in Bobi trading centre along the Kampala–Gulu Highway where a bus Reg. No. UBE 110H collided with a trailer Reg. No. KBS 564D/ZE 7948, was one of the nastiest.

Amongst the 14 passengers #RIP 😭 that died on spot is a friend of mine, we pray for the 30 others fighting for their lives in Gulu hospitals having sustained serious injuries.
