At the same tome, I am a white male. I am not a woman, a person of color, someone with a disability, or another minority who are often made to feel like they don’t belong.
Its painful and anxious for me.
I can’t imagine the pain and anxiety others have.
I have no problem saying sorry to patients for my mistakes.
But repeatedly apologizing to angry patients for system-related issues is really, really tiresome.
